I have an economics background from my undergrad, and I just wanted to make my career in data and consultancy, which aligns with the course offered by the college, but as far as a concern to the expectations of the college little it disappoints me in making practical implications in the real world as most of us join the college for a good career in a corporation but in the end, we realize that we need some other practice knowledge other than what college offers us. as in my opinion if the college provides these courses in as a part of the curriculum, it will be overall best to the students. and also I can say that exams at the DSE are one of the nightmares for students at DSE
Course syllabus do get updated year after year as new batch enters, as professors sees that something new topic in the field has been researched out so they generally put that thing into the course. No industrial exposure FACULTY=Abhijeet banerjee(topics in economic theory, game theory),Ram Singh(Micro), JV meenakshi(EDPI, econometrics), Parikshit Ghosh(Micro), Anirban Kar(maths), Sudhir Shah(maths, game theory), Mousami (macro),etc are one the best in their fields.
Fee structure as per University standard. Program fee mode of payment offline and through online challan. For extra curriculum extra charge or additional fees charged by college. Yes college provided transparency in fee - breakdown.Their scholarship program for fee waving schemes.
Fee is feasible and I guess it is the cheapest for post graduation in economics. Fee structure includes library membership fee, lab fee and other expenses. Fee is around 8k per year. There is scholarships available for financial weak students.
It's feasible, not any expansive infrastructure in our old campus specially in our arts faculty other faculty have a good and expansive infrastructure just like Law faculty, chemistry, zologi, biology, physics, other languages course and top rated college
Fee is very feasible. It's around 8k per annum. The tuition fee is 218 rupees per year and other charges include that of library, computer lab, student development fund and some other auxiliary charges. All the inclusions are provided at very nominal price.
The fee is 8000 Rs per year, which I think is very cheap for such a good course. This should be viewed taking into account the quality of education as well as the high placement package the companies offer.
One of the best part about studying in DSE is the return on investment. The annual fees is around 8000 and there are various scholarships awarded to students purely on the basis of merit. It's almost impossible to find such a quality of education offered anywhere in the world at such low fees. This ensures that no student is denied world class education merely because of want of money.
Tuition fees and college fees - Rs 13000 for two years. Placement cell membership fees - Rs 12000 for two years. No other expenditure on college front. One of the cheapest college in India, and best Returns on Investment (RoI). Affordable without any debate.
The course is no doubt world class and competitive to any international school. School even has internationally renowned visiting faculty who train us on the most recent research topics. Courses like : Environment, Development economics, Game Theory and Industrial Economics are some of the value added subjects along with the specialization in Econometric gives a competitive advantage to students.
In terms of MA Economics, there is no difference between Delhi University and Delhi School of Economics. The MA in Economics degree offered by DU is through DSE since it is the Economics department of Delhi University. It is one of the most-sought after Economic schools in the country and offers excellent education in the field.
