How to apply for admission at DCAC?

Here are the step-by-step instructions for the DCAC Admission process.

Step 1: Before applying, read the official DCAC prospectus and course-wise eligibility and rules of intake and reservation. The list of programme requirements and the seats in 2025 are provided in the prospectus.

Step 2: In the case of UG applicants, you will need to enrol in CUET (assuming that you need it, depending on your seat category) and get to know the University of Delhi CSAS (Common Seat Allocation System) regulations cited in the DCAC prospectus. CUET scores are needed for some of the supernumerary and quota seats.

Step 3: Create a DU admission (CSAS) portal account and enter your CUET/qualifying exam details, following which you rank DCAC and your desired programmes/subject combinations in order of preference. DCAC recommends that the applicants follow the UG Bulletin of Information and CSAS instructions.

Step 4: Surveillance DU cut-off lists and CSAS seat allotment rounds. On the DU portal, an allotment is provided on the CSAS of a seat at DCAC, accept the allotment online within the deadline. Review DCAC forms for any college-specific timelines.

Step 5: Once the seat is accepted online, download, print and retain the DU e-admission / fee slip and the payment receipt. These are the documents that DCAC needs for the on-campus verification.

Step 6: Submit a copy to DCAC with an original copy of the reports on the scheduled date, with two photocopies of the same self-attested. The documents required are the CUET scorecard, fee slip, Class 10 and 12 mark sheets and pass certificates, School Leaving/Transfer Certificate and category certificates as needed. See the college notice, which gives the list.

Step 7: Full college enrolment formalities upon verification: pay any outstanding college/semester fees, take your college receipt and student ID, and fill out online/administrative forms as directed by DCAC.

Step 8: Complete DCAC orientation, departmental briefings to be given, schedules, access to the library and mentor/mentee assignments. Orientation schedules and contacts of the admission helpdesk will be posted on the DCAC news and noticeboard.

Step 9: In the case of a special quota (ECA, sports, wards quota, supernumerary, EWS, PWD) application, then the instructions in the DCAC prospectus should be followed, and you should be subjected to prescribed trials or present supporting documents as required by DU/DCAC.

Step 10: In the case of admissions to the PG, abide by the University of Delhi PG CSAS procedure and the DCACs in the PG. Send the necessary graduation materials, approve allotment at the DU PG portal, and finalise DCAC check and enrolment, according to the college program.

How to Check Admission Results?

  • Create an account at the DU CSAS / admission portal — Go to the official DU CSAS (UG) site at ugadmission.uod.ac.in.

  • Go to the section of seat allotment — On your dashboard, find the link which will be called Seat Allotment / CSAS Allocation Result / (some variant of it) to learn your allotment.
  • Check the allotted college and course. The outcome will determine which college (DCAC or others) and which course you have been allotted, according to your preference list, eligibility and CUET score.

I have got admission on the merit basis in 2021 , I was getting admission in most of DU colleges, DCAC is the college which is providing articleship opportunity to CA/CS students, also the placement records were very attractive, that's the reason for choosing this college above the other colleges.

Student Snaps:

Admission:

There are some private colleges like which I have applied as a backup but my luck and hardwork takes me to the Delhi University Best college And that is Delhi college of arts and commerce. And I have got the admission in this college on my merit basis because For admission in DU we have to crack the Exam of CUET then also there is my luck that I have allocated to this college which is best for the arts and commerce students which is so best in there respective field. No I didn't not get any rejection from the other colleges which I have applied because I am fulfilling their every eligibility criteria. First we have to crack the Cuet exam (and for this we can apply for it online when it's portal is open)for admission in this college because it comes under the Delhi University and whose is securing their merit easily allocated to this college and also we can mention our preference while applying for the CUET exam. First we have to crack the Cuet exam and securing the merit There are 7 exams in one semester and there are 2 semester in one year and the most exams are preferred by students is Indian polity. Cutoffs as per the merits list in the cuet exam And overall experience of admission is good and I feel that I deserve this college because I have fulfilled the eligibility criteria and cracked the exam and secured the seats in merit.

Admission:

I just want to pursue a foreign language course. So this is the only option in DU, apart from this I have applied to JNU in that I was getting Russian Language but that was not as per my choice. If I was able to make it in JNU, then I might get many Benifits like placements, exposure, and most importantly practical subject to study in an language like, translation tools etc. The admission process is very simple, just appear in CUET, get the score fill out form and bravo you will be selected, if you have a decent one.

Admission:

So I chosen this College because this College is nearby my home so it's easy to travel for the college. So if also applied for deshbandhu college before this and got confirmed admission from them but I also applied for college upgrade and got delhi college of arts and commerce. So talking about why I choose this College over deshbandhu is because deshbandhu is a off campus college and Dcac comes in south campus college so it's a top rated college comparing with others and Dcac has best faculty and no issues with attendance (it's also a one my reason). Taking about the admission process, as delhi college of arts and commerce comes under delhi University so for taking admission in this you need to give a exam which delhi University conducts called Cuet and after that you need to come under the cutoff for this College as this College has very high cutoff so you need good score in cuet. Taking about my experience about the admission process so it's kinda new thing for me but the process is very simple and my experience was good with it
