To get admission after passing 12th one can register for the application form of CUET (Central University Entrance Test) . Every course have their own eligibility like for English literature you must have English as a language and two other subjects in entrance test. After passing the entrance test should register in Delhi University admission portal and apply for allocation of seat in their favourable course and college by filling up the reference list. While providing you seats University considers your preference, score, reservation and eligibility. SC/St/Obc could get their preferred course in their very first round due to the reservation benefits also there is little decrease for their tuition fee

At my time of admission there was merit based system. You are selected on the basis of your class 12th marks (best of 4 subjects). Students of any board can take admission. They just have to clear the cutoff marks. There is a college wise list released at regular intervals which is called as cutoff list so if your marks are more than the cutoff then you can apply and take admission in that college. Now the merit system is over and every candidate has to give ab entrance exam known as CUET. I think this a more reliable source of admission as it will truly make the candidate prepare for the exams. The number of candidates appearing are in lakhs so there is an immense competition.

The admission process was quite smooth as the management was operating very smoothly at that time. The application forms and dates are easily available on the du's official website. I still remember the day I got my application approved by my college authorities in the 3rd cut off. It was all done within a day ; fee submission and approval

I scored 690/800 in cuet and I got CVS, DU in the first round itself. You can fill up the DU CSAS form after your CUET scores are out. There are reservation seats in our college. DU only has end sems and no mid sems, so you get big gaps between 2 semester exams. One area that they could improve is that they can give more practical assignments rather than handwritten ones.

CVS is part of Delhi University so the entrance exam we have to give is CUET and if we are qualified we have to fill the preference list of colleges we want In DU and then according to our marks and course we are alloted the college. And then you can easily take admission in college you are alloted by paying the fee and if you don't the college you can also apply for update.
