The University of Delhi (DU) has announced the interview schedule for the Ph.D. admissions for the academic session 2026.

The registration for the DU PhD Program began on Saturday, 18 October 2025.

Interviews for the eligible candidates will be held in a physical mode in the respective departments. The interview period runs from early November through to 15 November 2025.

The PhD Courses interview is mandatory for all candidates and will be held only in physical mode at the respective departments. The candidates must carry original documents, IDs, and, in many cases, a research proposal and CV for the interview. They must check the eligibility criteria carefully. The university warns that any lack of awareness of published guidelines will not be entertained later.

The candidates should plan the travel and attendance since no TA/DA or accommodation is guaranteed by the university.
