Dec 22, 2025 17:00

With a VARC 47th percentile, chances of getting an MBA call from IITs are very low. Most IITs (like IIT Delhi, Bombay, Madras, Kharagpur) require sectional cutoffs around the 60-70 percentile in each section, along with a strong overall percentile. Despite excellent Quants (97.43) and DILR (94.48), the low VARC score is a major constraint.

Scoring 90 percentile in CAT for IIFT Delhi needs focused preparation, smart strategy, and disciplined practice. Start with building strong basics in Quant, DILR, and VARC through NCERTs, editorials, and daily problem-solving. Practice 2-3 VARC RCs daily, solve DILR sets with time limits, and revise important Quant chapters. Take full mock tests weekly, analyse your mistakes, and improve accuracy rather than speed alone. Follow a fixed study timetable for at least 4-6 months to reach 90 percentile.
