IIM Placements Process
IIM Placements process is of three types: Summer Placements, Lateral Placements and Final Placements.

IIM Summer Placements: Summer placements typically occur during April-May, aiming to recruit students for internships with various companies. IIM Lateral Placements: Lateral placements at IIMs are conducted a few months before the final placements. These placements are open to 2-year MBA/PGP students who have accumulated work experience of 18+ months.
IIM Final Placements: The final placement process at IIMs typically occurs in December/January and follows a similar structure across all IIMs, with minor variations. For instance, IIMA (Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad) employs a cohort-based system, unlike the day-based system at some other IIMs. In the cohort-based system, recruiters are evaluated in groups based on their domain or expertise over a more extended period.
