CAT Exam Centers 2024: IIM Calcuttahas announced the list of CAT exam centers 2024 on the official website. CAT 2024 will be conducted in multiple test centers across 170 test cities in India on November 24, 2024. Note that Gurgaon and Faridabad have been clubbed as 1 city in Haryana along with Noida and Greater Noida in UP.
While filling CAT Application form 2024, candidates can choose 5 CAT Exam Center locations from the list of cities. The center allotted by the conducting IIM is final and absolute.

How to Select CAT Exam Center 2024?
While filling CAT Application Form 2024 candidates have the opportunity to select up to 5 exam cities. CAT Exam Center allotted to the candidates depends on the city of their preference filled in the application form. Candidates can opt for the CAT Exam Center by following these simple steps.
- Step 1: Register for CAT 2024 by visiting the official website – iimcat.ac.in
- Step 2: Create a login ID and fill the online application form.
- Step 3: Proceed to 'select test city'.
- Step 4: There you need to select up to 5 cities as per preference. The city mentioned first will mean that it is preferred the most and the last filled city means least preferred.
- Step 5: Continue with the rest of the application and make payment of the exam fee to submit the application form.

Reporting timing at CAT Exam Centers
- CAT 2024 exam is going to be held in 3 sessions at each center- forenoon, afternoon, and evening.
- The forenoon session is from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM. Reporting time for the forenoon session is 7:30 AM.
- The afternoon session is from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM. Reporting time for the afternoon session is 11:30 PM.
- The evening session is from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM. Reporting time for the afternoon session is 3:30 PM.
- Entry in the exam centers will end at-
- 8:15 AM for the forenoon session
- 12:15 PM for the afternoon session
- 4:15 PM for the evening session

CAT Exam Center 2024: Important Instructions

- Candidates cannot change CAT Exam Center once allotted. Therefore all the CAT 2024 aspiring candidates are advised to fill the preferences carefully.
- An original valid ID proof- Aadhar Card, Passport, Driving License, PAN Card, Voter ID, College ID, Employer ID, or Identification Affidavit is to be presented at the gates of the exam centers.
- No item other than admit card and ID proof is allowed inside the exam centers.
- Candidates will be asked to remove their footwear before entering the examination hall.
- Jewelry, watches, electronic gadgets like mobile phones, calculators, etc. or any other metal item are not allowed inside the exam centers.
COVID-19 Guidelines for CAT Exam Centers 2024
Due to COVID-19 pandemic, candidates will be required to follow certain precautionary safety measures to ensure protection from COVID-19 on the exam day:

No, there are no CAT Exam Centers availiable in Nagaland. This year the list of CAT Exam Centers is going to be released along with the official notification by the IIM in July/ August 2022. This year the CAT exam is going to be held in 438+ test centers situated in 158 test cities across India.

The CAT 2022 exam is going to be conducted in three sessions. These three sessions will be held in the forenoon, afternoon, and evening. The timings for the forenoon session are from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM. Also, the reporting timing will be at 7:30 AM.
