The annual fees of the college that I have submitted this year is INR 58820. The college releases a notification regarding scholarships after the admissions for which an interview is taken. As a first year student i don't know if fees increases or not but as informed by my seniors the fees increases by 5 to 10% annually.

Faculty

Week the faculty of the college is quite nice and experienced. Teachers do clear doubts any number of times you ask. Examination forms are filled up and the faculty provides previous year question papers for proper practice and preparation.

Particularly my course faculty is very good they are too good always clear our doubts and provide well explained answers. I don't like commerce faculty because i here a lot of gossip about this faculty. In bsc course there are 6 semester and each semester have 4 to 5 subject papers and marking system is so strict. Very less amount of students failed in this exam approximately 10 %. But teaching is very good.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course on my brother's reference. Because IT sector is great field for making a carrier. Teachers should be teach us more real world problem. And i think new course must ne introduced in our college. The exams are so fast here and we get a very less time for study. Difficulty level of our exams are moderate.

Ratio is around 30:1. Faculty is very much approachable. They are very helpful. By far I liked Shikha Ma'am, her way of teaching is far better than our other teaching staffs. I didn't like Sakshi Ma'am, I find it hard to understand what she teach. There are end semester exams and 2 internal test where the best of them will be evaluated. Currently course doesn't look much difficult, so yeah everyone passed. Course curriculum is by far relevant.

Course Curriculum Overview

I want to study coding. That's my main reason to opt for this course. Well I guess, only coding related subject will prepare me for real world application since I'll go for reasearch related field. I am not qualified enough to suggest any improvements in course curriculum. The first tests are generally easy while the second tests will be harder. Generally, there is a gap of around 1.5 months in between the tests.

At October, there is held a university week for all Dhanamanjuri University. And at around December, there is college week. In library, there is plenty of books but some are outdated and they even don't update new books. There is playground, swimming pool and many other facilities for sports and extracurricular activities. There is no any clubs.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this computer science course because I like computer and someday I want to work in tech company. For improvement, i would like to suggest that while teaching programming they should teach in front of system to understand more and so we can even improved more rather than in class .

Our annual tech marathon is the best marathon among du college which is usually held in feb or march. DDUC has numerous active clubs and societies that cater to a wide range of interests. For those passionate about performing arts, societies like Rhapsody (music), Sangyaan (theatre), and Zest (dance) offer platforms to showcase their talent. There are academic clubs like The Finance and Investment Cell (FIC).

Placement Experience

The placement scenario in our college for our course is decent, you can get some offers from tech companies but the package will be not be high, so mostly students prefer to do masters in computer application or computer science from DU ot NIT (by giving nimcet) I gave the nimcet and currently pursuing MCA from MNNIT

The annual fest of this college is called "Shruti" which takes place during the fest season of DU which is between February-April. There is a very big air conditioned library with a diverse range of books. The classrooms are spacious with projectors, although it can become hot during the summers due to the lack of air conditioning. There are several societies including Indian dance, western dance, dramatics, film and photography, Indian music, western music, science and innovation, NSS, NCC, and many more.

Faculty

Highly qualified professors with PhD background. Teachers are very helpful and provide guidance and clear doubts whenever needed. Special mentor-mentee sessions are also conducted among teachers and students to discuss future plans of the student. Lesson plan is followed timely. There is just one main exam which is the end sems, although class tests and internal tests are taken during the course itself.

Faculty-to-student ratio is 6 teachers for 40 students, so that is pretty good Some teachers are really passionate about their job and that is why I pretty much like them. They are doing a brilliant job. Some teachers are working as if they have been forced to teach. They just come and speak some things and then leave. Some teachers are not able to properly impart the knowledge they must definitely have. Exams are pretty easy if you have studied and prepared properly. Almost all the students pass easily. The course curriculum is pretty much relevant to the future society.

Course Curriculum Overview

The subject that I am studying is pretty much relevant for the upcoming society. In the future, this is the need of the world aur every human living in it. The curriculum is a pretty good one since it covers all the requirements that are compulsory for the future. The teaching methods can definitely be improved since it sometimes feels like the teachers are not able to properly impart their knowledge to us. Exams happen every semester, so every 4-5 months. Pretty easy exams if you study and prepare well.

Ques. What is the cutoff percentage of 12th class to get admission in BSc. CS, in Holkar Science College, Indore?

● Top Answer By Aniket Mitra on 20 Nov 21

Ans. The required cutoff varies depending on various factors. Generally, you should have a percentage above 90%, if you want to take admission in B.Sc CS at Holkar Science College. If you have above 90%, you can choose your preferred combination of subjects. There are many subject choices.  Holkar Science College is a decent institute. But it may not offer you job opportunities, after the completion of your degree. You will have to seek opportunities on your own. If you have other options, it’s better to consider them. Read more

Ques. Why is the cutoff for computer science in Thapar lower than that of NIT Jalandhar?

● Top Answer By Ayush Agarwal on 03 Dec 22

Ans. The cutoff for computer science in Thapar has seen a fall in figures. This is because of the decrease in the fame of this college. There are so many better and popular institutes that people usually don’t consider Thapar as their first choice. Even big companies prefer students from IITs, BITS or DTU. Students themselves opt for IIT because of its tag. They know the IIT tag will always be a boon for them. The general decrease in its popularity has resulted in lower cutoffs and the situation seems to be worsening over the years to come.Read more

Ques. Which is the better college between Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College and ARSD College for a B.Sc. in Computer Science (Hons), mainly in terms of faculty and course-related infrastructure such as computer

● Top Answer By Praniti Arora on 26 Nov 21

Ans. It may not be right to compare the colleges under DU among each other. As most of them have similar curriculum and teaching techniques. But if infrastructure is considered Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College (DDUC) is far better than other colleges under DU. As it is a newly established institution, the facilities provided are upgraded with the latest technology.  They also are known to have a very highly experienced faculty, some of them even having 20-30 years of teaching experience. DDUC is popular for its Science and Commerce streams. Therefore if you wish to choose among DDUC and ARSD College for an Honours degree in Computer Science, it is suggested that you go for the former rather than the latter.Read more

Ques. Which course is better, an MSc. in finance from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management, Mumbai, or NMIMS, Mumbai or MSc. in financial engineering from IFMR, Chennai?

● Top Answer By Apoorva Katnik on 14 Mar 23

Ans.  If you are considering pursuing a Master of Science (M Sc) degree from NMIMS, it is important to do some further research on the recognition of the degree. However, an MBA from their Mumbai campus can be a good option to consider. On the other hand, IFMR offers only MBA and Ph.D. programs, so it is not possible to pursue an M.Sc from there. As for JBIMS, it is the most prestigious institution in Mumbai, but there have been some concerns raised about the accuracy of their placement salary data. Additionally, the selection process for their M Sc course is quite competitive, with only 30 seats available for the program and a large number of candidates competing for those spots. Considering your interest in finance, it would be beneficial to aim for admission to a top-notch business school like XLRI, which is renowned for its finance program. Another option would be to gain experience in the industry and pursue a finance course such as CFA or FRM, which would make you eligible for admission to world-renowned business schools such as the Indian School of Business.Read more
