Students also ask

Ques. I missed the CUET UG registration last date. Can I still apply later, or correction window allow new form filling for CUET UG 2026 admission?

Ans. If the registration date is over, then the new form is not normally allowed. The correction window is only for editing details, not for a fresh application. Sometimes NTA open extra window, but it's not sure. Students should check the official CUET website daily. Missing registration means wait next year's exam only, so better be careful with dates.

Ques. I gave the CUET PG exam, but my score is low. Can I still get into DU College or apply through the management quota in 2026?

Ans. DU admission fully depends on the CUET PG score and CSAS counselling. There is no management quota or direct admission in DU colleges. A low score may get a seat in later rounds or less demand course. Students should fill out more preferences to increase the chance. The other option is to wait or try other universities.

Students also ask

Ques. I want to know fees increase every year in Aryabhatta College, or whether the fees remain the same for all three years after admission?

Ans. Fees mostly remain the same for the whole course once admission is done. Minor change can happen if the university revises charges or add some facility fee. Generally, DU does not suddenly increase fees every year. Students should keep a small extra amount ready just in case. Official notice come if any change happens later.

Ques. I am confused between BA Hons and BA Programme in Aryabhatta College, fees difference matter much or the future scope difference?

Ans. Fees difference between the BA Hons and the BA Program is not very big. The main difference is subject depth and career options. Hons courses give more focus on one subject, while programs give a mix of subjects. For higher studies, an Hons is prefer but the BA Program is also good if students wanta flexible option.

Aryabhatta College Admission Process 2026

1. Appear for CUET (UG/PG)

  • Students have to give the CUET-UG or CUET-PG exam with the correct subjects according to the course they choose. Without giving the CUET exam, admission is not possible in the college.

2. Register on DU CSAS Portal

  • After the CUET result is declared, students need to register on the DU CSAS portal. They have to fill in all the required details and pay the registration fee. If the fee is not paid, the form will not be completed.

3. Select Course and College Preference

  • Students must choose their course and put Aryabhatta College in the correct preference order. If the preference order is wrong, the seat allotment can be affected.

4. Seat Allotment

  • Seat allotment is done based on CUET score and cutoff marks. Cutoff changes in every counselling round.

5. Upload Documents

  • After getting a seat, students need to upload all required documents for verification. If any document is not clear or missing, it may be rejected.

6. Pay Admission Fees

  • Once documents are verified, students have to pay admission fees to confirm the seat. If the fee is not paid on time, the seat can be cancelled.

7. Visit College

  • At last, students have to visit Aryabhatta College for original document checking and then start attending classes regularly.

Students also ask

Ques. I uploaded the wrong document during DU CSAS for Aryabhatta College. Can I change it later, or will it be cancelled fully?

Ans. If the document is wrong or blur then the college usually give chance to reupload within a certain time. The seat cannot be cancelled directly in most cases. Students should check the CSAS dashboard daily and mail college if needed. If no correction is made on time, then the seat may be cancelled. So, quick action is very important here.

Ques. I got a seat in the later CSAS round for Aryabhatta College. Does it affect placement, teacher support or future opportunity compared to first round student?

Ans. Getting a seat in a later round does not affect placement or teaching at all. All students study the same syllabus and the same teacher. Colleges do not treat students differently by round. The only thing matter is how students perform in college life. So round of admission does not decide the future, student effort decides everything mostly.

Aryabhatta College Cutoff Courses-wise

BA (Hons.) Psychology had the highest cutoff (852). B.Com (Hons.) and B.Com were also high. Most other courses, like Economics, Political Science, Computer Science, and Maths, saw lower cutoffs in the last round. BMS and Business Economics had lower competition compared to other courses.

The following table shows the course-wise Aryabhatta College cutoff marks for admission to Aryabhatta College across different counselling rounds.

Courses First Round(Cutoff marks) Last Round (Cutoff marks)
BA (Hons.) Psychology 838 852
B.Com (Hons.) 808 -

Students also ask

Ques. I have score little below the last round cutoff, do I still have any chance in the spot round or special round for Aryabhatta College?

Ans. Spot round chance depend on vacant seats only. If many student not take admission, then the cutoff drops more. Nothing is guaranteed in the spot round. Students should keep checking the CSAS portal daily. Sometimes the cutoff goes very low suddenly. It is risky but still possible if luck supports and seats remain empty after rounds.

Ques. I am confused cutoff shows the first round lower than the last round. How does the cutoff increase instead of decreasing in later counselling rounds?

Ans. Cutoff not always go down in every round. If high-score students upgrade or choose college later, the last round cutoff can increase. Demand of course matters a lot. Psychology and English-type courses have high demand, so the cutoff moves up. It depends on student choices, not a fixed rule of decrease only.

Students also ask

Ques. I am not from a commerce or computer background. Can I still sit in the placement of Aryabhatta College, or will companies reject non-relevant students?

Ans. Most companies allow students from all courses if their basic skills match. Background is not always a big issue. Skills, communication and interview performance matter more. Some roles are open for all streams. The college placement cell informs eligibility before the drive. Students should prepare well and not fear the background. Many non commerce student also get placed.

Ques. I want an internship in the first or second year. Does Aryabhatta College placement cell help early-year students also, or only final-year students?

Ans Placement cell also shares internship opportunities for first and second year students sometimes. Mostly final year focus, but internship mail comes for juniors also. Students should stay active, attend seminar and join the placement cell group. Internship stipend is low at the start, but experience help lot later. College support is there, but efforton the student's side is important.

Aryabhatta College Ranking

Aryabhatta College is ranked 151–200 by NIRF 2025 and has improved significantly in India Today 2025, ranking 71 (Science), 76 (Commerce), and 57 (Arts), with strong stream-wise positions of 19 (Arts), 30 (Commerce), and 39 (Science).

The following table displays the Aryabhatta College Ranking 2025.

NIRF Overall 151–200
Indiatoday Science 67
Commerce 70
Arts 57
Collegedunia Science 39
Commerce 30
Arts 19

Students also ask

Ques. I am confused, ranking is different on NIRF and India Today, which ranking should I trust more while choosing Aryabhatta College?

Ans. Both rankings are correct, but they use different methods. NIRF focus on many factors like teaching, research and outcome, so the band system comes. India Today focuses more on stream-wise reputation and student surveys. Students should see course wise ranking as more useful. Ranking does not decide everything, college environment and effort also matter.

Ques. I want higher studies or a government exam later. Does college ranking really matter, or is Aryabhatta College's ranking enough for plans?

Ans. For higher study and govt exam ranking is not a very big factor. A degree from DU itself gives value. Aryabhatta College's ranking is decent and improving, so no problem. Entrance exam score, skill and preparation matter more. College name help little, but final success depends on the student's hard work and consistency.

Evening activities happen, but students usually leave by late at night. PG areas have security also. Like every city, basic careis needed, but overall area is considered student-friendly and safe enough.

Aryabhatta college Delhi University

Student view on course curriculum and faculty

My course is a BA program which have a combination of Psychology and English. I chose this so that I can learn the literature and analyse the characters in it and also psychology makes the analysis efficient. There are a total of 50 students. There are students who are from inside the state and outside the state and we can find both Hindi speakers and non-hindi speakers. We have got a friendly faculty who takes in the contribution of students well and also is open to critisisms and adjust according to the new needs of students. The faculty is well qualified and updated in their field. The semester exams were conducted timely and the exams will be quite easy, if you cover the whole syllabus properly. There was no out of syllabus questions and the difficulty level was also moderate.

Internship opportunity provided by the college and stipend

The recruiters include hp, outlook group, transcurator, travclan, pehchaan, collzy, cupshup, investosure etc offering roles like business development, content writing, counsellor, human resource, Finance, marketing, research, operations etc and there 85+ companies offering internships and 450+ students got selected and the stipend was upto 25K.

Placement provided by the college , average and highest package

I am not well versed about the placements but I have seen the placement cell and they are very active and the highest package is 12 LPA and the average package is 6.5 LPA. The recruiters include axis Bank, indigo airlines, bookmyshow, byju's, hp, etc. and the profiles offered includes analyst, associates, business development, human resource, Finance, marketing, research etc and 43 selections were made. And they also provide internship opportunities for the students with stipend. I am planning to go further in my major and learn more before landing on a job.

Total course fees and provided scholarship

The fees structure is yearly and it's 18000 for my course and there is financial assistance provided by the college as well as the government like NSP and post metric scholarships. The placement cell in the campus is also very active in providing internships with stipend for the enthusiastic students.

Annual fest and various activity in the campus

There are annual fest and other workshops conducted in the college and also there are programs and seminars conducted by different societies from inside and outside the college. We have a library which included all the study materials. The classrooms are properly ventilated and have projectors and also the college have computer labs, Psychology labs, ground and is active in sports and other extracurricular activities. There are drama society, dance society, ncc, nss etc and there are a lot of societies in the campus run by students which is very active.

Admission process and eligibility criteria

The minimum eligibility is 12th pass with 60% marks generally which varies according to our category. The admission is based on CUET. After the results are published, we have to apply separately to the university (Delhi University) and pay fees and the university will publish the rank list according to which we get allotted into the college. Every process is mostly online and until and unless complications arise, the process goes smoothly. Everything regarding the application will be available on the official portal of delhi university or the college you are planning to join. As far as, I am considered the application process is as smooth as butter.

Which college is best, Satyawati, Aryabhatta or Rajdhani in terms of the crowd?

Punit Gupta,B.Com (H) from University of Delhi (2020)

Rajdhani college is said to be better than Aryabhatta and Satyawati if the crowd is considered.

Rajdhani is a very underrated college, students often ignore its capability of being a good institution. The crowd here is unlike what is usually pictured. They are highly knowledgeable and determined to their goals. They are hardworking and dedicated individuals who are also driven. Being a college under DU, their students are also highly competitive which creates a disciplined environment.

Like every other college they also have a mix of good and bad students, but due to the presence of the good students the others are encouraged to do good as well.

Which is a better college in Delhi University Aryabhatta College or Dyal Singh College Eve?

Neha Rani
Udita Ghosh,Bachelor of Commerce from Aryabhatta College, University of Delhi (2018)

One of my friends first took admission in Dyal Singh Evening but then got admitted to Aryabhatta College in the 7th cut-off. He attended 2 classes at the college.

The faculty at Dyal Singh is amazing but the environment and classes are dull. The library and the sports ground are really good as compared to Aryabhatta College.

At Aryabhatta, the faculty is really good and very experienced. The infrastructure is one of the best in Delhi University, as they are newly built and well maintained. There are two canteens on the campus. Being situated in the south campus, there are a lot of places to hang out.

It is suggested that you should join Aryabhatta College over Dyal Singh Evening College, as it will provide better facilities and an environment appropriate for education.

How is economics honours course from Aryabhatta College?

Sreemona Das
Chhaya Das,Studied at University of Delhi (2016)

Some of my friends studied Economics honors at Aryabhatta College. According to them, economics honors itself is a comparatively tougher subject, graduating with it is an achievement itself.

  • You get to know about how markets work and relate almost anything and any topic or current issue to the prevailing conditions of an economy.
  • It also demands good skills in mathematics and quantitative ability that will benefit you in the long term.
  • This course will push you to your limit. You will have to submit numerous projects based on case studies and current market scenarios.
  • Aryabhatta College is the youngest college of DU. It originated from an evening college converted to a morning one.

The only thing that is a bit concerning is its placement cell, it is very new. Thus, not having established contacts with the reputed organizations and companies might come as a disadvantage. Few companies that visit the campus are average.
