My first year experience

My first preference was B.sc honours computer science only because I need to go in the field of computer science because I had my interest computer science , schedule is little tight for students and assignments are like given on the very last day and too much of workload is there for a student in our specific course also student should be allowed to choose their sec and vac subjects that should in revolve around computer science but here we are not allowed to choose instead we are like already allotted the subjects last year it was allowed seniors could choose their own interest subjects . Assignments and test are taking regularly but I feel teachers should focus on much that what students are learning rather taking on lots of assignments

placements being like held like the highest package for my course would have been gone to up to 5 lpa the company last year visited or college was Wipro on Flipkart KPMG and many more and also in my course people usually go for higher studies.

When I talk about our college fees so my courses BSc honours computer science per year for first year it was 37320 and for the three years it would be one lakh 11960 and courses of 3 years but according to the new rules now students can choose fourth year to according to me it is affordable and some amount for a student to pay yearly

I am overall enjoying my college life and also I have join two clubs and infrastructure is being built a new building is being built hopefully it will get completed by end of 2025 and we would be able to see a new buildings the facilities that are being provided for the labs are good but I still believe that they need to work on the new system, labs aren't that good and books in library should be there with new curriculum, also the extra colour activities are often held in Aryabhatta college the first the society fest like our monthly held in our college so it is over all and excited environment

To my first preference for for BSC honours computer science was of course Hansraj as it is in north campus college and very reputable college but I am satisfied that I got Aryabhatta because it is in South campus and it is affiliated with Delhi University and it holds a very much good reputation too, though I had my preference for Hansraj north campus and also or Shaheed Sukhdev which is also very good college but I am not dissapointed that I got Aryabhatta it is it good college and I appreciate it

As I said that I feel the faculty members are less in my course there should be more teachers also I appreciate My college faculty but they did not teach according to the new curriculum and they should work over through it I know they are great and have qualified and has PhD degree so I am satisfied with my faculty but they should teach with a new method so that students can interact and when I talk about exams exam exams are held according to the Du curriculum semester wise

In our college there is one cafeteria and utility centre to where you can drink juice have some Maggi and momos and other than cafeteria is there where students have lunch with variety of dishes I do think there should be more dishes in the menu as of now hostel are not available in our college and I know it's a big drawback though I am a day scholar but I have seen my friends struggling for hostel and the PG in South campus are two expensive. Drawback for a students as it du life becomes expensive
