I only applied for du collages coz du colleges we're my dream..I applied for srcc hindu and hansraj college too but couldn't make it due to higher cuttoffs..then I chose dyal singh as it had a big campus active societies and a good crowd. I rejected colleges like DCAC AND CVS because of metro proximity crowd and facilities like big campus and auditorium amphitheatre etc.

I got admission in 2019 in this college as per my marks in 12th but now as per DU norms the entrance test is conducted . I applied for north campus colleges also but didn't get admission becay i was not able to clear the cut off in those colleges . But I cleared the cut off various south campus colleges but got admission in Dyal Singh College because it offered a variety of courses and also the infrastructure was too good . Additionally the JLN metro station made the transportation easy. At that time the admission process was through your marks in 12th in three subjects i.e. maths , physics and chemistry collectively . There are various rounds of cut off and in each round cut off goes down till the seats are filled.

I chose this college primarily because of the fact that this course was one of my preferred course, and that my CUET score wasn't enough to get me to the North Campus. I would have really appreciated if my professors were good. But anyhow, i still enjoy Philosophy.

I applied for most of the top colleges namely hindu, Stephens , venkateswara etc but unfortunately i didn't prepare thoroughly for the entrance exam (CUET)and hence failed to make the cut off. Going to this college was the last option as i had delayed applying to other universities Past 3 yrs have not been the best cause i didn't willfully chose this college.

I applied for the Delhi University through DUCSAS portal and then you need yo fill the preference list of the colleges and courses you want to apply for, then you'll get the course and college according to your CUET ug score in the domains you appeared in the CUET ug, after that you will be allotted a college online and they will verify your documents and then after that you will be admitted in the college and course that you got according to your CUET ug score.

So basically I wanted to study mathematics but I got chemistry but that's fine. I scored equal marks in chemistry and maths in my board exams. I opted for mathematics in other colleges of du but got rejected due to less marks in CUET. Admission are happening in Delhi University by CUET. So you get admission through CUET. Eligibility is different for different courses. You can check the admission brochure. So for chemistry to be studied in du, one should have studied physics, chemistry, and maths in 12th. In CUET he or she must have registered for physics chemistry and maths exams and a language. So during the admission time, scores of these 4 subjects are considered. Usually, the cutoff remains very low for this course. And overall admission process is quite transparent and fast.
