Course Curriculum Overview
B.Com is a course that keeps a lot of options wide open and CFA and CA are some courses which most students are pursuing simultaneously. Since, DU affiliation is there so course is same in all 72 colleges of DU. Perspective level of mine is that DU is tough and it takes a lot to crack exams at Delhi University.
Internships Opportunities
Maths of internships is quite clear like half the students get from college and half has to search by its own. Mostly it's organisational roles and top roles that are offered. Also, most companies offers stipend of 12-20k.
Placement Experience
Placements here are so good because our placements department cell students are quite active on LinkedIn and have managed to get almost 70-80 colleges on board. Average placements of B.Com at our college is around 5 lakhs or so as of now.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees for B.Com is around 13000 at Dyal Singh College. The fees is even less for evening college and also scholarships for sports, caste and merit are available and from 50% to entire tuition fees is waived off.
Campus Life
Our campus is like a shade over 10 acres. In that there are buildings for societies like Aduacs a music society which has a music room and recording room room. Like Kalpataru a dance society has a dance room too. Priyamwada is our annual fest and it has like a lot of fun activities. Dance sessions on traditional days and recently we had one on Valentine's day too.
Admission
I always wanted to be a part of Hindu College. The cut-off of Hindu College was 775 but at Dyal Singh it was 730 and my score was 740, so in that kind of score the best option that I had was Dyal Singh College. So, therefore I feel I am at the right place because from opportunities to kind of education that we are provided at Dyal Singh College, I don't think I could have had otherwise.
Faculty
Students are less actually in Dyal Singh College than other colleges and yet the faculties are same in numbers. Some of them are into this profession for like decades and decades. Passing percentage is also around 85% or so and this is a little less than top colleges of DU like the Hindu and the St. Stephen's College.
Night Life
Our college has not many outing spots nearby. Hostel is there in our campus but boys hostel don't have like a very strict rules and all. Subhash Chaat Bhandar, and Lovely Cafe are two of biggest students Fun zone or craving zone.
Other Applied Colleges
