.I applied for various colleges from Delhi University but due to my shift from science to arts stream, as a penalty 2.5 percent was deducted and I landed up in satyawati College. Though for economic hons. the cutoff of gen was 96 percent in 4th round but I thankfully got my admission secured. Admission process is very easy, you just need to register on the central portal of delhi University and from there select the college and course keeping your cuet score and preferences in mind. If you fulfill minimum criterion to join then you will get admission email and after submitting the fee your admission will be secured. Ofcourse all the relevant documents will be checked

du university follows a centralized admission process and the cuet score is the key factor in determining college placements . with a score of 671 i narrowly made it into satyawati college as the cutoff of 669 . in my list this college is not top most priority but as my score i cant made it for high ranked colleges

in DU its a centralised admission system and your cuet score determine which college you will get . Satyawati is available for a score of 670 and my score was exactly 671 . so it was nothing like rejection as studying in du itself is a novelty . so yes, satyawati wasnt my preferred choice but my score didnt let me enter higher ranked du colleges and therefore i took admission here

So to be honest i got this college by mistake in my preference list . This is an off campus college and there are many more colleges which are better then my college. I applied for north campus colleges but i got less marks so i got admission in this college. The admission process of taking admission in my university is by the exam of cuet ( central university entrance test). If you want to get admission in a good college you have to score atleast 700 marks out of 800.

I am a Hindi medium student. I was told that history is studied well in Hindi medium in this college, which is true. If I had got some guidance, I would have taken a history program from Hansraj and not honours from Satyavati.

I was selected in pgdav as well as saheed bhagat simgh evening but i choose this college due to its proximity to my home and overall i ranked this college better than other alternatives i had. Plus Satyawati college also falls under north campus so that was an added benefit and it is located in ashok vihar which is a very good area

Admission process is not complicated all you have to do is give cuet than resgister yourself in csas portal, make the preference list and if your selected you can check it on csas portal. Enough time is given for exams and they are moderately difficult. I think the admission process is fine and needs no improvement.
