- Location, proximity it is very close from the metro, the area is very nice.
- Accessibility to various places like khan market, jln stadium etc
- Overall facilities and infra is okay for the fee that we are paying and education is really good. Male female ratio is almost equal.
Dislikes
- Basic amenities like water and washrooms are very poor are more like a harrasment.
- Faculty is good, but the system is not that strict.
- Lack of discipline in students. And no such action by the principal
Course Curriculum Overview
I feel that the overall curriculum is great it is very inclusive if the student studies it properly . Exams are taken in every semester and their diffculty level is average so that every student can excel in their own way.
Fees and Financial Aid
Right now I am in second year and I have paid 12000 in first year, then 9000 something in second year for BA hons Political Science, scholarship opportunities are definitely available and I am frim generalncategory.
Campus Life
There are a lot of societies in this college, exposure is really good, societies are very professional and are really good, teachers have a great behaviour towards the students, the staff is very nice their behaviour is really great with students, it feels more like home at dsc
Admission
I didnt choose this college it was alloted, though it was there in my pref list, but I am satisfied with this college because of its location and fees and faculty, everything is really good. I didnt get any rejection from other college I got upgraded from Shyama prasad mukherjee to dyal singh college.
Faculty
Faculty student ratio is avg like other departments like in our department it is 20 for 350 students in all three years, Prakash Sir, Nikhil Sir, Manoj Sir, Vijay Verma Sir are some of our best faculties their conecpt clarity and their teaching pattern and the way they interact is awesome.
Interview Experience
No, no such things was there, it was allocated from csas amd a cuet procedure, gds and other things are coducted in Society interviews. And for cuet i prepared for mcqs, ncert, and i got enrolled in coaching.
Night Life
Okay, so if we particularly talk about cafes, there are no such cafes nearby for hanging out other things, but we have really great places like the sunder nursery and humayuns tomb, khan market, janpath, meherchand market, ihc. As it is excluded from the campus area, you cannot find more affordable cafes or anyother things but yes the area is very good.
