- I really liked the faculty there.They were so supportive and helpful.
- The infrastructure of hansraj was also very catchy.Its impossible to not love the infrastructure, be it the classes, sports ground or library.
- The placement society was really impressive as all those who wished to get placed eventually got placed in good companies.
Dislikes
- I didn't like the fact that the sports faculty only facilitates the students who are from sports quota.
- The hostel guard was also not friendly enough. I have to really struggle sometimes for getting binto the hostel even though i was residing there only.
- Although the crowd of hansraj was good but due to so much admissions for the 2023 batch, the professors were not able to connect with each and every student due to this some students felt left out.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum was overall good and being a economics honours courses it was challenging at times. The course offers many things for students interms of their further academic pursuits or any placement they are looking for. Talking about the areas of improvement and teaching methods there are none. The exams of the respective subject are to happen. They take test 1 , test 2 and there is final exams.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tuition fees are around 18k per year and around 50k per semester hostel fees if you choose. Not much hikes. Complete cost would be around 60k for the tuition fees for the entire course and yes the scholarship are available. We have to apply after getting it into college and recieve in one time a year.talking about campus employment there are none
Campus Life
Overall campus life was good. Not much of anmual festival in hansraj nowadays but the environment you'll get here is good. You can access the library 9 to 5 on other days and during the exam times, the timing will extend. You'll get moreover every books related to studies and outside as well. Talking about sports , good at basketball, archery and shooting but lacks on other games such as cricket football.
Admission
Admission process was smooth to be honest. Not much of a hassle. Eligibility for the course was you must had maths jn your high schooling for Ba economics honours. The application process was all online. You have to submit details on the portal and upload your documents . The frequency and timing of exams will be respective tests for each subject for the internal assessment marks and final exam at the end of semester.
Faculty
Talking about the effectiveness and qualifications of the faculty, they were amazing. Like many were graduated and done their higher studies from top colleges abroad like Nottingham and Oxford. The faculty to Student ratio was little bit low maybe because of our covid batch, students were more but for other batch is good. Their approach is very conceptual oriented and you can interact with your teachers in your and their leisure. For that you have manu tutorials sessions.
