Deen Dayal Upadhyaya (DDU) College is a constituent college of the University of Delhi. The college was established in the year 1990 and is located in Sector-3, Dwarka. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College is ranked 24th among Indian colleges by the National Institute Ranking Framework (NIRF) in 2023. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College is affiliated with the University Grants Commission (UGC) and National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with a Grade ‘B’ and a CGPA of 2.63 on a 4-point scale.
DDU offers 9 UG Honours programes in Computer Science, Electronics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Mathematics, English, Commerce and Bachelor of Management Studies. Further, it also offers bachelor’s programme in physical science, Life Science, mathematical science and Bachelor in Arts. At present, DDU is offering Add-on courses in Russian Language and Effective Communication and Personality Development through Theatre (ECPDT) which are very popular amongst students and a certificate course in French.
DDU college has 1800 undergraduates and 110 postgraduate students. Admission to UG courses is based on the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) followed by e-counseling. The college is spread in an area of 7.7 acres which includes well-equipped laboratories, a library, a wifi-enabled computer Centre and an auditorium for conducting cultural events and annual fests. There is also an air-conditioned canteen for students and staff in the college. The college also has hostel facilities for students. Admission:
During my time, i applied for uptu also and get college in Lucknow but i join Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College, University of Delhi because of university, college location, course structure and exposure. I not applied any other college. During my time 12 percentage (best of 4 subjects) is entrance and cutoff is approx 95% for general, 93% for obc, 90% for sc and 85% for st but now the change the pattern and need to write CUET exam. Admission process is very after clearing exam.

I BELIEVE DEEN DAYAL UPADHYAY COLLEGE IS ONE OF THE BEST COLLEGE OF INDIA IN BSC HONS ELECTRONICS. I DIDN'T APPLY FOR OTHERS. ADMISSION PROCESS FOLLOWS THE CUET EXAM AND SOME BASIC REQUIREMENTS LIKE 10TH,12TH MARKS SHOULD BE 60 PERCENTAGE (DEPENDS ON CATEGORY) LAST CUTOFF WAS 110 OUT OF 600

I gave CUET wondering I will get SRCC as that's my dream college. DDUC was my third choice in the list so I faced rejection from SRCC, and the Hindu College. CUET rank and scores have now become a decisive factor in getting admission in DU.

i choose this college because the college is 20 mins away from my home and it is also a good college of delhi university and i cannot make into north campus because i didn't able to clear the cutoff just by 26 marks.

Actually I scored 710/800 in my cuet exams , I applied for top tier colleges like SRCC, hansraj and ramjas but their cutoffs were very high so I decided to enroll in DDU college as I met their eligibility criteria

- DDUC is one of the leading colleges of DDUC and the reason for that is the kind of placements that it provides.
- Teh campus doesn't just have one of the finest lush green landscapes but is also among those rare DDUC that has its own hostels too.
Dislikes
- The colleges location is like far from both North and South campuses and therefore there are no other colleges around.
Admission:
BMS is not offered by all the colleges of DU and from the colleges that offers SRCC was my first option and then Hansraj and finally DDUC. Cut-offs for SC category students at CUET for BMS was 640 for SRCC and 625 for Hansraj. At DDUC, it was 600 and I had a score close to that. Hence, I took admissions here.

As I want to take admission in best college. As compared to my cuet score ..this college was one the best for me as it was ranked 3rd college in all delhi University college for computer science. And after two years of my journey I found this worth it

- Irrespective of scores I think students should never look beyond DDUC. It's better than top rated DU colleges in terms of activities and studies and soon will be better than them in placements too.
- If one wants to vroom himself/herself then DDUC is for them as activities here are a never ending thing.
Dislikes
- Though this is not something I should be complaining about but outsiders ration here is lesser than other top colleges of DU.
Admission:
For BMS DDUC is the best and I was specifically targetting that. My score was 720+ and it was enough to get both and that is college of my choice and also the course of my choice. Admission process ke through CUET as there's no other way. Gone are th days when 12th marks were evaluated but now its entrance that is mandatory.

- Students community is quite active here as students organized all the cultural fests, sports and debates competitions.

- The college is close to Haryana border and therefore a majority of students here are from Haryana.
Admission:
I had a dream of joining ST Stephens but the CUET cut-off for their was 745 and my score was 723. So, i took admissions here. CUET score of 720 and a minimum of 55% in 12th is mandatory for general category students as that's minimum eligibility criteria.

I got the admission through merit on the basis of my 12th cbse exam as i took the admission in 2021 and from 2022 onwards cuet is being conducted to get admission in delhi university. I got many colleges like ramlal anand, ramanujan, shaheed sukhdev college of business studies but i preferred to choose Deen Dayal because of its location (close to me), infrastructure and closeness to NSUT
