Course Curriculum Overview

5

There are certain aspects which influence my decision to choose this course as discourse is basically based on the practical learning such as accounting, finance, etc. this course helps us to prepare to solve the real business complex problems and also helps to pursue the professional degree in the future. There are certain areas of improvement in the course curriculum such as subjects like marketing which is a theoretical subject and try to make it little bit practical and if the course will change ultimately teaching methods will also change. There are two examinations in a year in 6 months each and it is a moderate level examination at honours level.

Internships Opportunities

5

There are various companies who visited the college for the role of internship such as Tata Mahindra, Re-link, etc and roles offered are finance, marketing, operations, business associate, etc and stipend are usually ranges from 15000 to 20000 INR depends upon the roles and responsibilities of an intern full stop projects and outcomes of the company are mentioned in the internship description of the company.

Placement Experience

5

As my course is the professional course means her students at eligible to sit in the placement from 5th semester. There are various companies who visited the college for the placement such as KPMG, PWC, Deloitte, Zomato, Swiggy, etc and the number of offers made were not explicitly disclosed by the college. The highest package was 36 lakhs and average package was 5 lakhs and the profile assurance, audit, finance, marketing, etc. Around 80% student place from this college and my plans after the graduation to pursue the masters from the reputed college.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees which I paid for the BCom honours course is 15500 inr which includes tuition fees, caution fees, admission fees, development fees, etc. all days included in the one time payment. The fees of my batchmate who belongs from the other categories such as SC, ST, etc are generally same and the name of scholarship is national scholarship portal NSP and the amount of scholarship depends upon the family income level of the students.

Campus Life

5

The name of the festival which held in my college is Priyadarshini and in the month of March. Our library offers 2000 + range of books and journals which is easily accessible. There are facilities in a classroom such as projector, smart board, ventilation facilities, hygienic dustbin, etc. Our college provides diverse range of a sports and extra curricular activities such as cricket, painting, dancing, music, etc. society are generally run by the students some of them are President, vice president, etc which have a positive impact on the student life where societies provides a platform where a student can grow, learn and building professional career in terms of CV.

Admission

No I didn't applied for any other college and I choose this college over other college because of the course and the exposure which I get in this college it might be possible I will not get in any other college. No I didn't get rejection from any other college the admission process is through common seat allocation system and eligibility of examination is 12 + and exam accepted for the course is CUET Common University Entrance Test which is most preferred by the students cut off for the general category is 730 out of 800 and overall experience is good.

Faculty

5

We have one teacher on 70 students the faculty to student relationship is magnificance weird faculty is always ready to help and guide the student and personal and professional development and faculties are easy to approach and their always ready to help the student throughout the learning pattern. The name of the faculty whom I like much is the faculty of corporate accounting because of his teaching style and making the complex thing into the simplar once and the best faculty is be faculty of corporate accounting, financial management, business maths, etc. faculties whom I personally do not like this faculty of marketing because of her teaching style make and as a it is a theoretical subject which is quite boring and teaching style is traditional and there are two examinations in a year and it's some moderate level examination at honours level anyone can pass the exam with moderate effort many student can pass the examination easily with a moderate effort and it is relevant to our course curriculum and future pursuits ime MBA,etc.

Night Life

5

Our college do not provides gym facilities but we have canteens were fresh and hygienic food are cooked and baked we have three floor library and we do not have any designated public area. We do not have any hostel facilities and campus timing is 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. there are various hangout places inside and outside the college such as Red benches which is inside the college maggi point which is outside the college and we have locality safe to roam around at night in the main ground.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Subjects like Law, Management, HRM and Economics really influence my choice for this course. The law and economics part was really something that garb my attention as well as excite me the most. It really helped in understanding HR policies in depth which helped me really world a lot. The curriculum should include more practical and technical subjects which will help in the corporate world too. The exam timings were usually 2 to 3 hours max. And the exam also doesn't come too hard to pass.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum of Janki Devi Memorial College is quiet relevant and covers the important areas of the subject in a structured way one of the reasons I preferred this course was it is designed according to Delhi University standards and the syllabus is recognise and useful for higher studies the combination of theory papers skill enhancement courses and internal assessment help in building clear understanding of the subject. The curriculum helps in writing resources and critical thinking skills which are useful not only in exams but also for future academic and professional work at the same time, I feel that adding move practical sessions, workshop, or more project based learning with me the course more engaging and closed to Real world applications. Exams are held in the form of internal assessment during semester and final University exam at the end.Exams schedule is manageable and the difficult level is moderate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course ciriculum for bcom is good and covers major aspects like accounts, business law, management, ethics. It help understand the basic concepts and useful for future studies Ciriculum is relevant but somtimes it feel more theory based rather than a practical aprroach. More practical exposure and skill based subjects can be added There might be some needed improvement in teaching as we learn account's and management it feels boring teacher can make it interesting if theu improve their methods Exam happens every 4 month after the end semester the timing of exam is good my 1st sem happened at the December whole month the difficult was not much high my account paper was difficult as it was more tricky but the difficult was managable

Placement Experience:

There is a placement cell within the colleges but numerous are not dynamic and those who are dynamic do not offer great arrangements. As it were Srcc , LSR or St. Stephens offer pleasant placements. Most colleges offer arrangements between 3 - 4 lacs but over said colleges can give you situations with normal 8 lacs. But, I would prescribe you to not go for placements but higher things because it will increment your information and assist you to advance in your work and do it effectively whereas doing work fair after graduation will not allow you to regard merely continuously needed in the corporate world.
