Keshav Mahavidyalaya is one of the recently-constituent colleges of the Delhi University. It offers UG, Diploma and Certificate courses in Science, Arts and Commerce streams. The college has 12 departments under which all the courses are offered by the college. Some of the departments are Chemistry, Commerce, Computer Science, Electronics, Psychology and several others. The admission to the UG courses is carried out on the basis of the candidate’s performance in CUET UG. After qualifying in the entrance exam, candidates have to appear in the centralized DU CSAS process for seat allocation.

Established in 1994, Keshav Mahavidyalaya is affiliated to the University of Delhi (DU). The college has been accredited Grade 'A' by NAAC and is ranked 66 for Arts by India Today 2022. Currently, there are almost 1800 students enrolled in Keshav Mahavidyalaya who are under the guidance of more than 100 faculty members and 60 non-teaching staff. Through their expert knowledge and experience, the entire staff of the college are responsible for the holistic development of the students. The faculty members always try to encourage the students to work for their own betterment.

The college organises placement drives every year. Top companies come and hire the aspirants of the college. The cell arranges several activities to make the students placement ready. Several firms like Deloitte, Infosys, Gartner, TCS, E&Y, Genpact, Infosys etc. participate in the campus drives. The highest salary package was offered at INR 21.50 LPA. The college provides multiple facilities for the benefit of the students such as a girls hostel, library, e-enabled classrooms, wifi access, sports, laboratories and many others.

Keshav Mahavidyalaya Admission

Keshav Mahavidyalaya admission to the UG courses is based on scores obtained in the CUET examination. The admission process includes appearing for the CUET examination and then appearing in the CSAS seat allotment—registrations for admission at the college start after CUET result declarations. Candidates must select Delhi University while filling out the CUET application can register themselves on the DU CSAS portal and choose their college and course preferences. The entire selection process is carried out via the DU CSAS portal for the UG courses in multiple rounds. Keshav Mahavidyalaya admission process is given below in detail.

Step 1: Appear for the Entrance Examination

Keshav Mahavidyalaya admissions are based on scores obtained in the entrance examination. The table below lists the entrance exam accepted for various courses at Delhi University:

Step 2: Registration on DU CSAS Portal and Filling of Courses and College Preferences

Candidates who qualify for the entrance examination must register on the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) Portal of Delhi University. Once the registration is done, candidates will be asked to fill college and course preferences. 

Step 3: Seat Allocation

The seat allocation will be done in multiple rounds for all programs. Seats are allocated based on scores obtained in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) or other national-level tests, combination of college and program chosen, category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/UR) of the candidate, and availability of seats. 

Step 4: Blocking of Seats and Final Admission

Candidates can check the seat allotment result by logging into Delhi University’s Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) dashboard. Upon acceptance of seat, the college will check eligibility, verify documents, and confirm admission after receiving the admission fees.

Keshav Mahavidyalaya Placement

Keshav Mahavidyalaya provides a placement cell which organises placement drives for the aspirants to get the best options in the job sectors. The cell prepares the students to face the challenges of the corporate world. The placement cell of Keshav Mahavidyalaya works with the Central Placement Cell (CPC) of DU. The students are informed about the placement drives which are organised by CPC. 

The placement cell of Keshav Mahavidyalaya arranges workshops, seminars and talk shows for making the students industry ready.   • Library: The college has a library with over 24K books, dailies, weeklies along with periodicals. It also has access to 30K e-journals as well as research articles too. The library is under CCTV surveillance.

Academic structure of the college

I opt for b.sc ( hons) computer science from keshav mahavidyalaya. A college of Delhi University it is of campus college . But it has one of biggest d.u faculty for computer science some teacher are highly qualified . But some of them qualified . But they are not interested in teaching . Ratio Teacher:student. 1:62 Qualification :- Many of faculty are PhD holder . Some of them only complete m.sc Examination: -Exams are easy to pass but make sureyou get maximum IA ( internal assessment ) marks it is really helpful in passing semester exam .

Internship opportunity in various organization provided by the college

Deloitte,tata , Wipro , Infosys are of the companies in our college . Our college is good for bms students only . College admin or intership cell of college send e- mail on our college email ( which is issued in 1. St semester ) just after admission . If you skill according company required yoh apply for it

From 3 year students start getting placement. But our college is 3rd best college in du for bms . So placement for bms student very well happen but for other courses is not good . Our college have fest name is tryst . Usually college call some celebrity on this .Fest usually scheduled for more than two days . Don't worry about fest all colleges of du offer one of the best fest culture . You can go to any college to attend fest of any du college by using your college id card . Our fest of 2022 happen for two days it is really good 2)Amenities in classroom : - our college have basics wooden benches just like school . Having 3 floor building . Our college is small in size . But very sweet by insfracstuewise. 3 years of figuring it out at KMV

I applied for Symbiosis Pune, Christ Banglore, NMIMS Mumbai, IIM ROHTAK AND INDORE, I got admission in all except IIM, and also got in Keshav Mahavidyalaya after giving cuet, discussed which should i go for from many mentors and everyone adviced for KMV. Comparing to other colleges the fees here i very very less as all other are private colleges, but the services provided there are according to the fees and so is the crowd. Well I scored 350/450 in IIM Rohtak exam and what went wrong was the paper came way too easy due to which cutoff went 409 compared to 330 last year. I could have got any south campus college and even some of the north but I chose KMV because it was on second position for BMS. Cutoff for BMS in KMV was around 515/650 after giving cuet.

I applied in UPES dehradun for Computer Science Hons and got my admission confirmed but the living cost in dehradun and course fee were pretty higher than i expected. Then i got my second confirmed admission in Rajdhani College which was also a college of delhi university but in the second round of cuet i upgraded my seat for a better college. The admission process of Keshav mahavidyalay is pretty easy. The cutoff for the prefered courses were not too high and was easily available to me with my grades. There were many other courses available to student as per they attempted the exams of subjects they chose.

I have applied for delhi university and sgt university. There is a entrance exam which is conducted to get into the delhi university. The entrance exam is called CUET and it is conducted by NTA and according to the score the individual person get admission into delhi university. I have also applied for different colleges in delhi university but i got keshav mahavidyalaya according to my score and the cutt off marks of the college.

Campus life for ncweb student

Admission:

I applied for this college because here the teachers are very good and understanding also they help student to solve there problem in respective manner and also this college have good facilities as compared to other colleges I heard from. My friend how badly there teachers were treated them and also teachers just skip there lectures the facilities is not good and some colleges have taken unnecessary fees on name of this and that. The admission process is simple you just have to go on ncweb site and fill your application form and choose the college once your name is on the list.

REALITY OF KMV

Admission:

I got approval from almost all the colleges that i filled but i wanted to go to DU. There was no desired course that i want to get in. So when i got admitted to this one i immediately paid the feee to get into it. There's cuet score through which students get into it.

What is the qualification for BMS admission

Admission to the BMS course at Keshav Mahavidyalya is offered after qualifying JAT (Joint Admission Test). The expected cutoff required for admission to the course is 1600. The admission can also be obtained via CUET UG. The expected cutoff for that is 614.4.

Being affiliated to a Central University (Delhi University), Keshav Mahadvidyalya offers admission to its UG courses on the basis of CUET UG scores only. However, admission to the PG courses is based on the marks secured in DUET.
