About Keshav Mahavidyalaya
Keshav Mahavidyalaya is one of the recently-constituent colleges of the Delhi University. It offers UG, Diploma and Certificate courses in Science, Arts and Commerce streams. The college has 12 departments under which all the courses are offered by the college. Some of the departments are Chemistry, Commerce, Computer Science, Electronics, Psychology and several others. The admission to the UG courses is carried out on the basis of the candidate’s performance in CUET UG. After qualifying in the entrance exam, candidates have to appear in the centralized DU CSAS process for seat allocation.
Established in 1994, Keshav Mahavidyalaya is affiliated to the University of Delhi (DU). The college has been accredited Grade 'A' by NAAC and is ranked 66 for Arts by India Today 2022. Currently, there are almost 1800 students enrolled in Keshav Mahavidyalaya who are under the guidance of more than 100 faculty members and 60 non-teaching staff. Through their expert knowledge and experience, the entire staff of the college are responsible for the holistic development of the students. The faculty members always try to encourage the students to work for their own betterment.
The college organises placement drives every year. Top companies come and hire the aspirants of the college. The cell arranges several activities to make the students placement ready. Several firms like Deloitte, Infosys, Gartner, TCS, E&Y, Genpact, Infosys etc. participate in the campus drives. The highest salary package was offered at INR 21.50 LPA. The college provides multiple facilities for the benefit of the students such as a girls hostel, library, e-enabled classrooms, wifi access, sports, laboratories and many others.

Keshav Mahavidyalaya Admission
Keshav Mahavidyalaya admission to the UG courses is based on scores obtained in the CUET examination. The admission process includes appearing for the CUET examination and then appearing in the CSAS seat allotment—registrations for admission at the college start after CUET result declarations. Candidates must select Delhi University while filling out the CUET application can register themselves on the DU CSAS portal and choose their college and course preferences. The entire selection process is carried out via the DU CSAS portal for the UG courses in multiple rounds. Keshav Mahavidyalaya admission process is given below in detail.
Step 1: Appear for the Entrance Examination

Step 2: Registration on DU CSAS Portal and Filling of Courses and College Preferences
Candidates who qualify for the entrance examination must register on the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) Portal of Delhi University. Once the registration is done, candidates will be asked to fill college and course preferences.
Step 3: Seat Allocation
The seat allocation will be done in multiple rounds for all programs. Seats are allocated based on scores obtained in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) or other national-level tests, combination of college and program chosen, category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/UR) of the candidate, and availability of seats.
Step 4: Blocking of Seats and Final Admission
Candidates can check the seat allotment result by logging into Delhi University’s Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) dashboard. Upon acceptance of seat, the college will check eligibility, verify documents, and confirm admission after receiving the admission fees.

Keshav Mahavidyalaya Placement
Keshav Mahavidyalaya provides a placement cell which organises placement drives for the aspirants to get the best options in the job sectors. The cell prepares the students to face the challenges of the corporate world. The placement cell of Keshav Mahavidyalaya works with the Central Placement Cell (CPC) of DU. The students are informed about the placement drives which are organised by CPC.

- Library: The college has a library with over 24K books, dailies, weeklies along with periodicals. It also has access to 30K e-journals as well as research articles too. The library is under CCTV surveillance.
- Sports: The college provides sports facilities along with a playground, gym facilities in the college during morning hours, tennis & badminton courts, basketball courts and even indoor game facilities can be availed from the college sports room.

- Crowd is very nice. Though there is some competition but overall the crowd is non toxic.
- Some Teachers are really supportive but some teachers doesn't care whatever you are doing.

- There can be more societies in our college
- There is lack of proper infrastructure in kmv
Admission:
Keshav Mahavidyalaya is located in the main area of Pitampura. Unlike other colleges that are mostly off-located. Though one cannot enjoy the campus life in Kmv but still there are places like Punjabi Bagh and NSP for outings and gatherings

- In my degree it is from ncweb so there is no boys in college However there is contradiction of days where we have to come along with regular students so in that particular days there is boys also in college otherwise there is no boys in college
- The environment here is very good and also there is huge ground so one can do outdoor activities.
Dislikes
- Ofcourse there are things which I personally don't like in that college is there washroom area there is lack of hygiene
- The next thing I don't like is canteens are not open for many times which causes a great problem also the food in the canteen is too oily
Admission:
I applied for this college because here the teachers are very good and understanding also they help student to solve there problem in respective manner and also this college have good facilities as compared to other colleges I heard from. My friend how badly there teachers were treated them and also teachers just skip there lectures the facilities is not good and some colleges have taken unnecessary fees on name of this and that. The admission process is simple you just have to go on ncweb site and fill your application form and choose the college once your name is on the list.

- The infrastructure is pretty good for an off campus college and the college is pretty close to the metro stations so accessibility is easy

- The washrooms can be improved if they keep an eye on it and canteen should also be improved
Admission:
I heard that computer science in this college is pretty good so I opted for this college and I got it in the spot round at 510/800 in cuet and the admission process went pretty smooth but the college faculty insisted on getting the tc from school which was a struggle for me personally

- The things i liked would include the academics and the faculty as they were quite helpful and had a thorough knowledge of the fields.
Dislikes
- The things i disliked were the fests and the college events as they were often poorly organized and not much fun.
Admission:
The eligibility at that time was merit list so if your nqme came in that you could have applied for the course but its changed now due to CUET. There were some reservations at lower cutoffs. The admission process has been chaned to entrance exams now making it more difficult to get in.
Likes
- Building and infrastructure was perfect, it was really satisfying to be in DU college and have that vibe. There was a positive environment along with good crowd of students. Canteen area and the sports activities were all taken care of.
- The teacher and her mentorship was pretty good. The explanation and introduction of the new language was done with thorough explanation wherever required. The staff otherwise was also good.
Dislikes
- The use of constructivist approach or including the children in the teaching learning process would have been a better way of imparting knowledge about a new language on the part of the teacher.
- Further guidance of the career opportunities or any sort of placement would have been great on the part of the students.
Admission:
The course was for the school passed out (12th pass) students, anyone could apply. The process was easy and simple. We went to the college and filled the form and the admission process was done in one go without visiting the college again for the same. It was a bit difficult course and examination was held yearly.

Admission to the BMS course at Keshav Mahavidyalya is offered after qualifying JAT (Joint Admission Test). The expected cutoff required for admission to the course is 1600. The admission can also be obtained via CUET UG. The expected cutoff for that is 614.4.
Being affiliated to a Central University (Delhi University), Keshav Mahadvidyalya offers admission to its UG courses on the basis of CUET UG scores only. However, admission to the PG courses is based on the marks secured in DUET.
