Likes
- The infrastructure is nice, big playground, gym facility, library, reading area etc. All these give a nice campus enjoyment for the students.
- The faculty is highly educated and experienced. There is a lot they teach aside of books through their own experiences.
- Fests and events are also part of maintaining a nice culture for college students to meet and have some good time round.
Dislikes
- Attendance restrictions are some time over taken and have to attend most of the class which is quiet not possible.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is a bit too theoretical and less practical. The exams in the college takes places every month which are seasonals and are for internal marking and then we have semester exams in every 6 months which accounts for the external marking.
Fees and Financial Aid
In my college the fees very reasonable as it is one of the finest Delhi University colleges. The fees was only 15000 for 1 year, this includes tuition fees and admission fees. Further exam fees and books cost different which is 2000-3000 per semester. For other category student there is no direct relaxation but few 100's discount. Delhi Central University is being used the most my students which refund full college fees, making it very financially supportive for economically weaker students.
Campus Life
The campus life is too exciting though variety of societies in college like music, dance, art, business, finance planning etc etc. Also many fests keeps taking place around the year giving great exposure to students with different varieties and culture of different college students around the complete North campus of Delhi University.
Admission
As this is one of finest college in Delhi University, also for the course that I want to pursue which is economic hons, this college has a good prior experience/alumni network for this particular course which I have been in connect while applying for colleges. Also the college is reasonable in terms of fees which is also a major point to choose it amongst the all others.
Faculty
The faculty/teachers in the college are well read and well experienced. Their teaching style is very cooperative, they clear students doubts very clearly. Also their experience is shown in their real life explanation to topics in the class that makes the topic understanding much clearer and focused.
Interview Experience
I took admission in the college through CUET extrance exam and just get good score in that exam and getting top at the merit list, we get the college admission directly. This there was no interview or GD round. There is just fees payment and document verification round after getting admission in the college.
Night Life
Nightlife around the campus is also pretty safe and entertaining, restraurants and mall are open most of the time students can enjoy around. Also the college reading room with wifi and gym is open till 7-8PM making it a great place to spend night before sleeping.
