Course Curriculum Overview
To be honest the course curriculum is designed keeping in minds the students and hence giving them time of both academics and extra curriculars. The only drawback of the syllabus is thatbits not very comprehensive and doesn't give an indept knowledge of the subject.
Fees and Financial Aid
I have paid 15815 as an early fee for 1st year, BA(H) Sanskrit. I'm not aware of any scholarships for general students per say as of now, but there are many scholarships available for SC, ST, EWS etc based on income qualifications and merits.
Campus Life
Starting with the orientation that was held within 2-3 days of joining of the college, then Diwali mela in oct followed by freshers which was held in Nov, then Alumni Meet in mid Nov. The liberarybis accessible and has a good collection of books and journals.
Admission
I applied to other colleges like, hansraj, hindu and St.stephens, and kirori Mal, out of which I got into kirori Mal based on my CUET scores. I chose this college because of its proximity to my home and the connectivity of Vishwavidyalaya.
Faculty
In my department there area approximately 100 students to which there are 8-9 teachers. The teachers are supportive and approachable except for a few. Dr.Bhupender Kumar is who I consider to be my favourite faculties. There are in total 7 exams in sem-1, including DSC, GE, SEC, AEC, VAC. In my opinion the SEC, VAC subjects are an extra burden on the already stressed students and don't do any value addition to the students life.
Night Life
There is a gymnasium within the college premise, the college has also a descent canteen and also offers hostel facilities for the students. There are many small eateries, cafes, restraunts, and many students favourite handout spots in and around the college .
