Course Curriculum Overview

2

Too vague to understand, feels extra burden of unnecessary irrelevant topics , extra papers like SEC/VAC simply add to the burden while barely providing with any skills and values as their name suggests . Studying them and preparing for exams add extra stress and unnecessary burden on them , diverting their focus from their core papers , which are already too huge and they study materials or readings simply fail to assist . Areas for improvement would be - proper structured study materials , also proper structured practical subjects / papers for students where they can actually learn or gain knowledge/skills which will be advantageous in their future .

Internships Opportunities

2

MLA internships , MP Internships , Principal's office internships are some of the name of internships I have heard or seen in social media , other than those I barely have any knowledge on other internship opportunities, companies involved , their stipend , etc .

Fees and Financial Aid

For a SC student it's 15630 , I think it is good enough , in comparison to other colleges under DU . I think other colleges under DU should also bring down their fees , since the quality of education which is provided is not proportional to the fees . I am not sure , about how much scholarship is being provided by the college , also the scholarships under DU are quite hectic and inefficient to deal with , not simple and quite complex and needs proper structure and a simple process for students to avail it .

Campus Life

3

Overall campus experience has been above average , since the college lacks behind in infrastructure, while societies and other activists utilise it efficiently enough but it shouldn't be undermined that the scope of events ane societies have been somewhat limited due to the poor infrastructure of the college and lack of funds . Facilities and technological provisions are quite below average and significantly poor , no digital classrooms , projectors barely work and those who work aren't visible enough. Range of accessibility of books and other materials aris good enough . All societies , club are great and fun , provide novel learning experiences in and out of campus .

Admission

I chose it over others since it's the only north campus college with a good reputation and name providing Political Science Honours other than Hindu college , I preferred Hindu over it but due to inadequate marks I couldn't qualify for Hindu . And being a male limits my scope of availing colleges like Miranda House or LSR . Admission process is through CUET , eligibility is a great score in CUET exam , cut offs usually remain 900+/1000 for political science honours in DU for good colleges like Hindu , LSR , Miranda and more .

Faculty

2

Faculty seems to lack responsibility of their work , refrains from taking regular classes , feels like they are being paid for doing nothing , never completes the syllabus , totally poor quality of teaching , barely touches the syllabus and no extra knowledge is being provided on their behalf . They tend to come late to class and then discuss random topic and leave , no accountability of students future and their own responsibilities as a professor . They don't seem to be really interested in their profession , they are simply gobbling up government's money , which is our , taxpayers money and barely even show up at their profession and workplace .

Night Life

3

Nightlife around campus is quite vibrant , since it's located near the Kamala Nagar Market , filled with bright cafes , fascinating stores of international brands , eateries and food chains are available in abundance , gyms are readily accessible from any location . Overall it's good .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I specifically chose Economics and history to study because I had an interest in both. Economics is pretty self explanatory, learning about how the world economy works is interesting. History on the other hand is interesting because you get to know how civilization and society developed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

German course has high demands and in germany there are relevant chances that I can get good paying jobs,I would say that the teachers are really nice, if you study well they will help you alot and are really appreciable, I would say there are none to improve because it's kinda easy to study the subject on your own, the difficulty of exams are what it should be like, it's good it's great, to make you a better person and student, and the time duration they give is enough to solve each and every exams

Our campus is big too and our auditorium is such that many top personalities have come and spoken there. Even leaders like Barrack Obama too had an interaction with SRCC students in an open air event.
