- I really love the library. It is like a second home and I spend more time there than my actual classroom.It provides wifi and the hall is also really good.The hostel canteen food is also good especially the chilli potato.i love it.i buy it frequently
- Next thing I liked most is the diversity of the college. The teachers are also really supportive for creative things. Attendance is also lenient. No one forces anything. .
- People are really lovely. Especially seniors. They are so helpful
Dislikes
- The infrastructure is so bad. They have to improve on that.
- They can improve the canteen also. The main canteen food prices should be low.
- The classrooms ceiling is broken. It has to be renovated.
Course Curriculum Overview
I was always interested in political science. And I am a upsc aspirant and the syllabus of the curriculum was aligning with it. Exams mostly happen in the last 2 months. As far I think course curriculum is really good. I have public administration and international relations which are my favourite.
Fees and Financial Aid
My fees was 15815 for a whole year. I don't know about any other fees. Registration fee was 250. Idk anything else.
Campus Life
Our main fest is called renaissance. We can find every kind of book related to every subject in the library. Moreover we also have e library. We can access it online. It is a good facility. KMC is famous for arts and sports. We have one of the best dance societies in whole du- sensations which I'm a part of. There are many good societies like gender forum, peace club, eco club and all. Even cry- child rights and you. Debsoc is also famous here. We have digital board and good facilities in classroom. Fests are held in March April time. Freshers were held in October this time.. it differs according to the department
Admission
Main exam was CUET. We should crack it with high marks... More than 98 percentile to get into the prestigious north campus of Delhi University. My college KMC comes under north campus and I'm really happy. I chose this college because it is one of the best for my course. It ranked 3rd in whole india for political science. I wanted it admission process is easy. After cuet results are published u have to fill csas portal. And you can see your rank and college allotted in the first round. The. Document verification. Afte that you will get gmail from the college and university. Cut off is almost 99 percentile in north campus. It's really difficult to get in. For humanities and commerce students choose DU. No no i didn't apply anywhere other than DU
Faculty
Faculty is really good. They are so helpful also. They are supportive in pursuing creative opportunities. Mid term exams , internals and sem exams are there. Everything is easy if you study well. It's not like so hard. But still you have to read properly to answer everything perfectly. Course curriculum is also really good. Students don't fail. 90 percentage of them pass easily.
Night Life
The kirorian cafe, hostel canteen are my favourites. Me with my friends always hangout there. Eat chilli potatoes and we can get cheese maggi too. Ashoka lawn is the famous spot inside college. Mainly kamla nehru ridge, and other popular places are there outside campus. Gym is really good in kmc. The north campus area is safe it is filled with students. I mainly stay late in college for library. It closes at 8.
