- Faculties . The college have the best supportive and knowledge faculties which helps students at every step
- Peace . I think my college is little bit politically neutral compared to other colleges of du which provides a safe environment to the students to focus more on academics n personal growth
- Societies n activities Kmc have vibrant society culture .socities like sensation , players are very popular. There are different socities which provides exposure to the students in every way possible
Dislikes
- Infrastructure the first day I enter the college my biggest disappointment is the infra of our college even after coming on 4th nirf ranking in 2025 the college doesn't have such kind of infrastructure which can make it to stand in top 5 colleges of
- Canteen - although the food is decent but the space to sit is very less there could be better spacing for students
- Lack of proper auditorium : it's feelike there is not enough space in our college
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum of my course is very well designed .it covers all the theoretical and practical aspects that helps students to develop strong foundation .one of the reason I choose this course is because of its comprehensive syllabus and inclusion of modern topics . Areas of improvement can be we should focus more on practical learning not on just theoretical aspects. Exams are conducted properly at regular intervals including mid sense , final sems with proper fairness n transparency
Placement Experience
I would say the placement opportunities are more available for science , commerce background students in the college there are rarely any placement opportunities for humanities background students . Mostly students starts engaging in placement in the fifth semester .severky companies visited campus every year including Deloitte , EY.TCS etc . Around 40 - 50 percent students from professional courses get the placement annually .even for the students not opting for placement the exposure n the strong alumni network of college help them secure good opportunities outside campus
Fees and Financial Aid
The annual fee structure is quite affordable .For my course the yearly fees is around 15500 including tution fees , examination fees , and other charges etc . The college does not have any other extra charges , the payment is done online through the Du portal .Yes students from different categories like sc sts obc have difference in fees structure these categories gets concessions in specific cases . Yes the college also provide scholarships and financial aid and also available many du scholarship to students on the basis of merit cum need
Campus Life
The library is well equipped with many books and proper reading spaces . Classrooms are quite decent but not upto mark can be more better . Ya our college is very active in sports n extracurricular activities .
Admission
Ok so I have a whole journey of my admission process . In the first round of my allocation i got confirmed admission in hansraj college for history hons then I applied for upgradation n then I got miranda house for same course but I was not happy with my course n then in round 3 under cw category I got pol science hons in kmc college I know I have already got good colleges in initial round but for my preferred course I decided to sacrifice my colleges . The admission process of kmc is quite smooth like within half of a day I got my admission confirmed there n even after coming late they reopen their erp portal for choosing different papers for those students who got upgradation in later rounds .
Faculty
The faculty members of our college are highly qualified , knowledgeable n supportive. The faculty to student ratio is well balanced like every course have two sections so that every professor can pay proper attention to the students . There is one professor Anant prakash sir he was one of the best teacher I ever met he teaches so well his teaching style is quite unique .in the whole semester there are total 7 papers and as according to my seniors if u have study well u can easily write those papers
Night Life
Yaa gym facility is available in our college , and recently a kirorians cafe is also open within college which becomes our famous spot to chill after any tiring lecture . And yes the areas around the college is quite safe to roam around night since I dont live in hostel so I can't tell more about it and ya it's also a problem that there is no girl hostel in kmc .
