Course Curriculum Overview

This course curriculum includes learning across 2 feilds like i have economics and maths and later we can continue 4th year to get hons degree . So its really gives time for a person to test himself or herself about which field to go on for as specialization. The difficulty level for this course is easy to moderate.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 12290 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Im pursuing BAprog(Economics with Math) at du's motilal nehru college evening as general category. 1st year fee is 12290 rupees total and no scholarships for me. Next years fees may be similar and approx total course 37k rupees no big hikes . Batchmates (SC/ST/management) pay comparable base .

Campus Life

My social life on campus is going amazing . I made new friends across the courses . I am in college societies. Initially i was introvert and very shy to new people but socializing helps in overcomming those traits and now i have greatest friends , joyfull experiences, concert nights and also intership Competition.

Admission

I had 600 something as cuet score . I focus was on high ranked colleges like venky , arsd and north campus but due to my low grades and prefrence sheet issue i got into motilal nehru college evening . And about motilal , its going great now.

Faculty

Faculties are really responsive towards students . We have AECC , GE , VAC , SAC and 3 DSC subjects in ba program . All 3 DSC students have 4 as total credits including GE also. Other have 2 credits . This course provides us with discipline in 2 subjects like i have economics as major and maths as minor . Exam system is accoridng to the DU's guidelines.

Night Life

In campus my favourite place is verma uncle 's canteen . Besides that ,around campus . The nearest is satya niketan market. Where we like moms momos which are delicious. We have evening college . Soooo we mostly hangout at evening or night time at satya by having some coffes , cookies , snakes , golgappe . And visiting to our friend's pg.

I found English hons to be a subject which can make me confident and fluent for the real world. Improvements could be done in management since it sometime lacks . the frequency and timing is fine the exams are of 3 hours which is enough for it .

Final year college students get eligible for the placements. EY , Deloitte, Mahindra,HDFC Bank, Zomato, magicpin, and others visited. Business development intern, data analytics, business executive, business associate, sales , marketing and others. Highest package was 32 LPA and average was 5 LPA. 20-30% students get placed. After this I will go for Masters.

6th sem students are eligible for placement Deloitte, microsoft are like companies, mnc approach students Our average package is 5 lac and highest is 10-11 lac Around 25-30 percent students get placement in our college My plan is doing masters and preparing for UPSC

Wonder of SBSC

Course Curriculum Overview:

As a art student mostly wants to graduate from the course like Political, History as well as Geography and my intrest is constituted with subject like geography and the faculty of Shaheed Bhagat Singh College is goods That's why I inclunced my decision in this course. The difficulty level of examination was quite good but question answer was quite easy and lengthy. The timming of examination for Hons students from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and the extra subject like VAC, DSE, GE, SEC examination time is almost 2hr. These extra subject helps to development in skill as well as personal growth.

MLNCE - Average but Enjoyable

Besides this college and DU, I had applied to Allahabad University, Banaras Hindu University and the University of Lucknow. I got admission in all of them. But I chose to attend this college solely for the Delhi University tag. The admission process for this college is the CUET. After CUET results, you have to register through Delhi University's CSAS portal and make a preference list of colleges. Cutoffs to get into the college depend upon course to course. For the course im doing - B.com (Program), the cutoff was 713-717 for Unreserved Category, 571-577 for OBC category, 463-474 for SC category and 86-103 for ST category. The overall admission experience is highly stressful and confusing....Read More

Truth of motilal Nehru College Evening

I've applied for many colleges of Delhi University.... But my preference was evening college because I am doing CA and there are my classes in day .. so it makes me easy to attend classes... I've the option to upgrade the college but I thought this one is best as I've listened from seniors that the faculty is good as compared to some colleges in my preference list. My simple college life.

As my college is an evening college i took into consideration of the fact that i want to pursue professional course so i need time and that would be the morning and after that I would be able to go attend my classes.
