Course Curriculum Overview

4

I found English hons to be a subject which can make me confident and fluent for the real world. Improvements could be done in management since it sometime lacks . the frequency and timing is fine the exams are of 3 hours which is enough for it .

Internships Opportunities

4

I do not have specific insights about the internships available but there are tech companies or startups which conduct workshops and provide internship oppurtunity . There are various other companies as well who do provide digital internship.

Fees and Financial Aid

I do not have any such management quota my fee was equal to all my other friends In 1st year i paid approx 15000 icluding everything when I took admission. second year 12000 , third year 13500 approx, 4th year 17500 due to research and dissertation My other friends who do have management quota gets discount of around 1 to 1.5k in fee annually. The fee of other courses such as computer science or other sciences is slightly higher than arts since science has practicals as well.

Campus Life

4

There is an annual fest every year called as SABRANG it carries in for 2 days where we arrange multiple intercollege competitons in all the fields including dance , music , etc . It is funded by college but arranged by the student union majorly. We also try to call some or the other artist to perform. The sports facilities in kabaddi and table tennis are available. A social services society called NSS works for NGO's etc majorly managed by students.

Admission

I liked the environment , affordability etc . The other colleges where i applied were private universities and this was a govt college under delhi university making it a top choice . Also the area where the college is situated is in south delhi and since was shifting to delhi for the first time for college I wanted the nearby area to be safe.

Faculty

4

The ratio is fine the faculty is very coordinative and supporting they understand the situation of students they are very approachable . I liked the english faculty the most major reason being I got to know them better than other faculties since I am persuing english hons. I found them very bold and cool at the same time. There is no such faculty whom I did not like since I did not get chance to know them all. There are 2 semester exams in 1 year . They are not so difficult if we have prepared well and apart from this there are internal tests.

Night Life

3

Since there is no hostel facility there is no night camous life thou we live in nearby areas in pg/ flats but the area is residential so most of the places are closed at night and there are barrigades all around making the area safe . The gates of gated societies gets closed around 11 but if you need to move out you easily can by asking guards to open the doors. The pg's and flats are bit expensive in very nearby area but afforable at a distance of 1.5 to 2 km .

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of my college is very active. They hold internships round the year and provide reliable placement at the end of last year. Placement mainly depends upon per student skill rather than the course variability and considering most of the humanities courses are less employable if taken only on the basis of course. However skills are the main deciding factor

Although I haven't graduated yet, I can say that these three years will be the most fruitful years of my life. I have learnt the most important lessons of my life here. I have been given the most rarest platforms where I got opportunity to explore my abilities and skills. Therefore, to conclude, I would surely say that my college and university is the perfect platform to succeed.
