Rajdhani College is a constituent college of the Delhi University and offers UG and PG Programmes. Each UG and PG course is offered under the streams of Humanities & Social Sciences, Commerce and Science with different specializations. Rajdhani College Admission

Rajdhani College admission to the UG and PG courses is based on scores obtained in the CUET examination. The admission process includes appearing for the CUET examination and then appearing in the CSAS seat allotment. Registrations for admission at the college start after CUET result declarations. Candidates must select Delhi University while filling out the CUET application can register themselves on the DU CSAS portal and choose their college and course preferences. The entire selection process is carried out via the DU CSAS portal for both UG and PG courses in multiple rounds. The detailed Rajdhani College admission process is as follows:

Step 1: Appear for the Entrance Examination

Rajdhani College admissions are based on scores obtained in the entrance examination. The table below lists the entrance exam accepted for various courses at Delhi University:

Step 2: Registration on DU CSAS Portal and Filling of Courses and College Preferences

Candidates who qualify the entrance examination must register on the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) Portal of Delhi University for the seat allotment. Once the registration is done, candidates will be asked to fill college and course preferences.

Step 3: Seat Allocation

The seat allocation will be done in multiple rounds for all programs. Seats are allocated based on scores obtained in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) or other national-level tests, combination of college and program chosen, category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/UR) of the candidate, and availability of seats.

Step 4: Blocking of Seats and Final Admission

Candidates can check the seat allotment result by logging into Delhi University’s Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) dashboard. Upon acceptance of seat, the university will check eligibility, verify documents, and confirm Rajdhani College admission after receiving the admission fees.

Rajdhani College Scholarship

Scholarship for SC/ST Students by the Directorate of Education: These scholarships awarded by the Directorate of Education, Government of Delhi, to the SC & ST Students belonging from Delhi. The Forms can be obtained from the College Office. The last date of submission of the application is August 31, every year. Parent's income certificate and Caste certificate must be attested by the Principal and it must accompany the Application Form.
All India Entrance Scholarship by the University of Delhi: Delhi University conducts a competitive examination in the month of October each year for the All India Entrance Scholarships of INR 250 per month in every year. Any Honours course Student with at least 55 % marks in the aggregate can apply along with the examination fees of INR 50 by 25th August in the application form which can be obtained from the Examination Branch –VII (I) of the University of Delhi.

Shri Sultan Chand & Co. Memorial Scholarship in Commerce: The scholarship is awarded to a student of B.Com (Hons.) 2nd year and a student of B.Com (Hons.) 3rd year, who secures the highest percentage of marks but above 75% in B.Com (Hons.) 1st year and 2nd year in the University examinations respectively, in the first attempt.

Best college in Delhi University

Likes

The best thing in this college is sports here are many outdoor games like football basketball volleyball cricket table tennis and badminton coaches are also available for every sport they will teach you train you and you can go for intercollege.
The teaching faculty is very excellent and teachers are very helpful towards the students
For science students many lab activities are done here on daily bases

Dislikes

The college infrastructure is not very large it’s very limited
Canteen is also not so much good it’s normal and very smll
The societies are student funded and the placement is very low and sometimes equal to zero

What does student says about course

It's very helpful for a student if he or she wants to go for upsc because the syllabus of bA program is very helpful for civil services half of the syllabus can be completed within a time period of the course that is 3 years or 4 years according to NEP2020 you can go for 4 years of bachelors degree too so the teachers are very helpful they will teach you accordingly and that will help you to cover your syllabus for upsc and other exams too The difficulty level of exams are very low because the questions asked in the examination are common sense questions if you are a goof thinker with a good English writing skills you will definitely score well in the semester examinations

Internship opportunity provided by the college

The internship sciences doesn't work properly in our college there are very few companies which come to college and provide internships to the students like Dcathelone and vice chancellor internships which are provided by the university itself for the students the task given by them is you have to apply for this and sit for interviews and if you passed and got selected you can get benefits from this so internships are very low in this college

Yearly fees and scholarship provided by the college

This college is absolutely awesome and beneficial for arts students because the BA program course and other BA hons courses in this college are very good the fee is also very loo 12 to 14k yearly and you can avail scholarship from university of delhi according to your financial status because it provides many scholarships schemes For admission in this college you have to sit for cuet and fill up the CSAS portal of delhi university and i would like to recommend you this college

Campus Life, labs and various Facilities

My experience as of now as i am in 3rd year and i have spent 2 years in this college it's very awesome the campus life is very good and the it's environment friendly There are labs available for many courses in different departments and projectors in every classroom This college have many societies like yuva gandhi study circle upsc society poetry society dance music singing and many more societies you can join any of them and will get certificates at the end of your degree which will be very helpful for your resume in future There are also NGOs opend by many students which are student funded they collect the money and distribute them into slums and donate to them

Student views on the faculty and exams

The relationship between faculty and students is very good teachers and administrators are very helpful The faculty of arts i liked the most because i am in this faculty and all the members in this faculty are very helpful and generous There is a semester wise system and 2 exams per year and internal assessment for each subject these are not so tough you can easily pass the exam just before 2 days of exam no need to worry about the exams

I applied for Shivaji college of university of delhi I applied for MAM college that is affiliated to cluster university of Jammu and Amar singh College which is affiliated to cluster university of Srinagar But i choose this college because i had already heard about this college from my seniors they also recommended me this college and i have researched about this college The parameters are 1 there is a lot of exposers in this college you met people from every state and can learn many things from them 2 the sports facilities and opportunities i can never get the sports facilities in those colleges which i am availing the benefits in this college The cut goes normal if you have scored 600 put of 800 in the CUET exam you can easily get this college

I always wanted to go to the Hindu College as for commerce SRCC may be termed as the best but for me it will always be Hindu. Be it crowd, infrastructure or the location, it is perhaps one of the best. Now with a score of 620 out of 800, not many choices were there and hence i took admissions in Rajdhani College which is also quite promising to be honest.

First of all things I like is social environment of college is very good and decent. Seniors are too helpful ther

Dislikes

Girls to boys ratio is less than average.about there 5-6 boys over one girl ratio.
College infrastructure is so average. Class room are Little bit average.

Admission:

I choose that college because I'm getting my course b.sc honours at low cutoff for general there . At other colleges i m not apply due to high cutoff for general. Addmission process is dependent upon cutoff percentage. Overall admission process is so easy

Rajdhani college , The most honest review until now

Likes

Also the college staff is really committed towards students and is willing to make things right and maintain peace and harmony between students and the staff .
The infrastructure, especially the ground is impressive refering to an average college and may be a good one for training and sports.

Dislikes

The travel distance is literally the farthest , I mean if a student has joined a cultural activity , he or she is not able to show up at the appointed time as majority of the college is from distant regions such as Narela and other distant regions.
The accounting staff is literally the worst and does not even like to work .I mean the employee does not show up at the opening window time and when he does , he refuses to listen to the students and misbehaves , making everyone yell on him.

Admission:

I applied to many top colleges in the Delhi University but I was not able to get many of them compared to my marks . I got this college in the second allotment with this course . Some of my friends also gave me some knowledge about this college that this is not a very bad college and is good in the aspects of education and stuff which I feel someabout true . The cutoffs were very high and my marks were not so good in the cuet , making my chances in the much better colleges less . Yes , if the exams were based in language potential skills , I would have surely got a high rated college in English honours . Well , in order to get admission in the college you may pass the cuet exam with the required percentile and thus if you meet the needs , you may be granted the admission .

College life is not a happy story for everyone college never teach you how to survive in life

My college have impressive infrastructure but i don't like the canteen food and prices
Their in no extracurricular activities in my college no skill development classes no motivational speeches no auditorium
Social interactions are very rare because it's co-ed college every one is busy in their life they don't talk much with anyone

Dislikes

Their is no auditorium not well gardens not proper washrooms
Faculty is so rude they didn't library is so small no more books in their their is some kind of issues with students

I have taken addmission in my college by cuet competitive exams conducted by nta every year i choose this college because it is coed college and near from my area i have scored 601 marks to take addmission

Admission:

I applied in another 7 college's of bhubaneswar. In first phase of admission i admitted in prananth autonomous college, khurda. For admission process the institute first check our eligibility criteria. If we are eligible then gave admission fees and admitted in college.

first thing i liked in my college is that campus is very big and beautiful.
second thing i liked is that the college have very much greenery and maintain it very effectivly.

admin block is the worst thing in my college because they work according to there mood and are very lazy ,if you say them to do it they will not do it even if they are free

I did not get this college through my choice because there is a new system now namely cuet whose full form is common university entrance test so I get from that after scoring marks in cuet giving my domain in cuet and beating the cut off. So I didn't applied any college so I didnt got any rejection further .

Honest review of my college out there

I like newly made computer lab of my college it consists of more than 40-50 pc out there and all with newest window model (11)

Dislikes

Sometimes the library is not opened which should be Opened all the time in college hours and there books are also not up to date.
I dislike the admin section most bevuase they are very lazy in their work and don't give much important to the student standing out there.

Nowadays as we know the common entrance test is taken named cuet whose full form is common university entrance test which is taken from the students for the enrollment of themself in a university like delhi university accept cuet scores. Cuet exam is multiple choice questions based exam which sees the students overall concept that would need in the field of knowledge he will willing into . So my college also accepted cuet scores mine is 682 collective of four highest scored subjects. My college cut off gone like 600 for general category while like 300-400 in sc category in third round of allocation of the college. Nowadays category certificatation creates a huge difference in cut offs. However in particular college or university students also get enrolled by sports quota

Facilities such as providing cool water during summer, cleanliness in toilets were so good.
The thing I most like in this college was Library and its Staff. Extremely admirable and workaholic!!

Dislikes

Wi-fi facility, unhygenic and broken seats of canteen area, teacher's unusual strikes, student's strike, library staff strike lasting upto even month causing problems for ambitious students.

Admission:

Previously I got admission to Maharaja Agrasen College for the course of Electronic Honors in 3rd cutoff 2021 but changed my mind to study Physical Science with Computer science and got admission to this college clearing the 5th cut off. I had less expectation from this college since before I applied for this college in 5th cutoff. But I was so curious about the library and sport facilities. I got success in library intution but remained quiet sad because of sport facilities. At those time only 12th class board marks was applicable for getting admission.

Likes

Library facilities are too good there are numerous books your can easily get everything for studies
Science labs are good they have good air conditioning facility

Dislikes

2 labs did not have AC and there is no fan
Food in canteen is good but the facilities are not good
Classes look like old fashioned there is no facility for AC in science classes

Admission:

I choose this college ver other colleges because this college have good science faculty and there is good facilities of science lab .and it is easily connected with netro and buses as there is 3 metro station nearby and 2 bus stand
