I like the societies of this college,all societies are actually very decent
I like the crowd of this college,no ragging or bullying I have seen in the college
the infrastructure of this college is very good aswell very clean and very well managed

Course Curriculum Overview

the curriculum is pretty relevant and requires real world knowledge.i like the course because I was interested in commerce and finance.the exams for 1st sem are usually in December and 2nd semester exams in june.

Class Size: 96Course Fees: INR 18741 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

the yearly fees for general category students in bcom hons course is 18741,which I think is pretty affordable,the fees for reserved students are a bit lower than that.there are various financial aids available to students of Deshbandhu college,which can be easily availed easily.the examination fees is around 1700 for every semester

Campus Life

the annual fest of Deshbandhu college is sabrang which is held in months of February March every year.The library of Deshbandhu is excellent,very big and almost all books are available.the sports and extracurricular activities are good too in Deshbandhunu,it has all the required equipments needed .

Admission

i choosed deshbandhu over other colleges because it had a great Nirf ranking of 13. also it was located in a very posh area which was near my home,so i choosed deshbandhu college,the process to get into this college in through CUET and the cutoff is 700/800

Faculty

the faculty is excellent I like all the professors of this college,teachers from commerce department are especially very nice they teach everything in detail.the student to teacher ratio is 50:1.the faculties i like is Seema ma'am and deepak sir because they teach everything in detail.the total no. of exams are 7.

Night Life

the nightlife of this college in very good,very safe ,the area around college is very safe , especially very safe for womens.the gym and cafeteria of Deshbandhu are well maintained and clean aswell.the famous hangout places near college are-nehru place,nehru enclave,cr park etc

Placement Experience:

When students enter 3rd year of their college , they are eligible to sit for placements but should have minimum 8 CGPA .A lot of companiess visit campus , details of companies are on the website of college.The highest placement till now is 20 Lakhs per Annum and average goes around 6-7 Lakhs per Annum. A decent percentage of students get placed. Honestly most students here are pursuing professional courses so they don't sit for placements instead continue with their courses .

Life in college so far

I applied to the entire delhi university and got this college in my first preference and overall I was satisfied with the same because of the nirf ranking of the college. Also, I heard a lot about the faculty from some of my cousins who have been an alumni of this college that the faculty is way too good.
