Course Curriculum Overview
I chose geography hons because it is very flexible and interesting for me. The course is very practical with real world problems. As of now I feel the course can be more practical than theoretical. Each year there are two exams with moderate difficulty.
Internships Opportunities
Muthoon finance, HDFC , Magicpin, Zomato, Paytm, EY , Deloitte are the most popular company that offered the internship. Roles are many in sales , marketing, management, execution , research , procurement and others. Also college provide principles internship in various fields.
Placement Experience
Final year college students get eligible for the placements. EY , Deloitte, Mahindra,HDFC Bank, Zomato, magicpin, and others visited. Business development intern, data analytics, business executive, business associate, sales , marketing and others. Highest package was 32 LPA and average was 5 LPA. 20-30% students get placed. After this I will go for Masters.
Fees and Financial Aid
The annual fees structure is 21075. All the tution fees, caution fees, registration fees, admission fees, development fees,lab fees and the other charges are included in the one time payment amount. Fees of my batchments is same as mine. Yes college provides fees reimbursement to meritorious students.
Campus Life
Our college organisses it's annual fest each year. In the month of Feb or March. The library is very wide with a very large range of Books. Each classroom has the facility of smartboards. The sports facilities are pretty decent. Yes we have around 20 society and almost all of them are run by students.
Admission
I have applied for few other du colleges. I chose SBSC because it has a very good geography faculty. Yes I got rejected from few du colleges du to few marks. You can get into this college through CUET UG examination.
Faculty
The faculty to students ration is decent. On an average of 60 students there is one teacher. You can reach out to teachers in case of doubt. My favourite teacher is Nahida Parvin she is very wonderful teacher. There are two semester exams each year, and the difficulty level is moderate.
Night Life
College has facilities of Library and well equipped reading room. College does not provide hostel facilities, students live in flats and pg. Select City walk Chirag delhi park Sandwich smuggler Pratha corner Shyam ke kulche Friends Cafe And others.
