The course which i opted for is Bachelor of commerce and the required course fee was 12500/year. It might have came down in the recent year but it was the same when i was in the first year. The college has been a very nice choice and it gave me something which i never expected for myself. Lets start with the management first they have a very good management though there principal changed very frequently but the management was supportive the campus for genuinely one of the biggest and most beautiful campuses in delhi University and the crowd was also good it gives alot of opportunities to students. The placements were decent enough for the students I myself got placed in EY GDS. I am forever grateful to DSC for all the good memories and opportunities. Its totally worth it.

Pros and Cons of Dyal singh

Fees and Financial Aid:

The fees is more or less between 25000-30000 for the whole graduation. It may increase by a little difference but not as huge difference because it is from central university .Scholarships were not available as far as I know. Whereas this fees comes as low as 15000 for three years for categories like SC, ST and OBC.

I have paid 13500 in my first year then 10600 in my second year and then 12600 in my third year there are scholarship available for the students of sc st OBC and for ladakh people too but I didn't opt for it. Fee is same for obc and general there are a bit concession for other categories

The teaching curriculum was on expected, not as compared to other private colleges, where there is somewhere or the other no studies happening. They have a very strict rule of marking scheme as well.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The overall total tuition fees for my college was approximately 45000 for 3 years. Other, than this, there used to be the examination fees of around 500 per semester. There were hardly any hikes in respect of fees during my term. There were some scholarship schemes for the underprivileged and quota students like the SC-STs, etc. There were relaxations in terms of examination fees and some subsidies were given in the form of student loans. From the end of 2nd year itself, lots of employment opportunities were available, in the form of placements, internships, workshops, etc. The average placement at the end of my term was 3.8 LPA, whereas for the internships, it was 15,000/- per month.

According to the reviews online, Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce (SGGSCC) is a very well maintained institution. They have a proper infrastructure with a good faculty and student crowd. Shaheed Bhagat Singh College (SBSC) is also academically a good institute.

It is suggested that you do not go for Dyal Singh College (DSC) but opt for anyone among the other two mentioned.

Between SGGSCC and SBSC make your choice based on the location. If you belong to South Delhi, Noida or Gurgaon, then choose SBSC. If you are from any other part of Delhi choose SGGSCC.

If you are from an outstation choose SGGSCC as overall living cost in North Delhi is cheaper than South Delhi and you can also stay near North Campus which will help you interact with a much more diverse set of people.
