Course Curriculum Overview

4

I was a little interested in money management since childhood, that's why I chose B.Com because it teaches about money management. If we talk about the syllabus and how much it connects with the real world, then it is very little. We are taught the same old syllabus which has been changed a long time ago. Mainly in the accounts subject, first of all one should see what is going on in the real world and what is there in the syllabus. The same syllabus is repeated again and again while the world is changing very fast. The exams are improving but the syllabus needs improvement. The exam is going well

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, I have paid the fees for the entire year, which is Rs. 15205. Different courses cost me separately, about which I do not have the information. First of all, I paid Rs. 100 as registration fees on Delhi University website, because I belonged to SC category, so my fee is Rs. 100. General candidates have to pay Rs. 250, and for semester one exam, I paid Rs. 1300 as fees. Yes, there is a scholarship for UN people whose annual income is around Rs. 1.5 lakh, there is a 50% discount for them.

Campus Life

5

There are many societies in the college, they arrange many programs, there are so many programs that we don't remember the names, there are many books available in the library, whatever type of book you want to read, you will get that type of book in the library, there is nothing technical in the classroom, it is a normal C class, we are commerce students, science students, people going to UN are given different facilities, in the month of November itself we had a boxing champion here, every type of game is played here, there is a good environment for games, if marks are given for continuous assessment, then the children should be divided into 4-5 groups and given tasks so that there can be coordination and some development of us people

Admission

I wanted to attend Delhi University, and whatever cut-off marks I got, I got admission to that college. Regarding my college's admission process, you first need to pass 12th grade and then take the CUET exam. After that you have to register yourself on Delhi University portal and select Dayal Singh College as your preferred seat. There are mainly four categories General ST SC OBC General always remains on top 7-8% is below OBC than that 2-3% is below EWS then 5-6 percent is below SC from EWS then 6-7 percent is below ST from SC

Faculty

5

There is one teacher for 60 to 65 students. I have a good relationship with most of the teachers but there are some teachers with whom I do not have a good relationship. I do not know much about the faculty. I only know my commerce department. I would tell you that my commerce department is good. The exams were neither easy nor difficult. On an average, I had a little difficulty in semester one while giving the exam.

Night Life

4

My favourite place is the red benches near the canteen where you find people of different types, you sit near them and talk, whenever I feel a little empty, if I feel hungry then I go there and sit and talk to some people and then lie down, there is no gym in our college and the only place worth hanging out in the college is our library, and talking about night, I like to eat and sleep early, I am a kid who don't like roams around at night, I roam around during the day

The placement cell of the college has become very active from this year and is bringing various internship as well as placement opportunities in the college . Students of the 5th sem i.e. 3rd year are eligible for placements. Average package of the college is around ?5-6 lac p.a.. My plan after getting a degree is to go for a corporate job , if provided on campus well and good otherwise to find one myself off campus .

The highest package of my college is 36 lakh per annum from bcom H programme. The placement is very nice from my collegem the average package is 6.7 lakh per annum and the median package is around 8 lakh per annum which is very good in my views. But if the students is not focusing in his academic then no college can give him placement, it's just a exception. The students become elegible for placements after 2nd year and before 3rd year basically they just got PPO that is preplacement offer. Bain & co. , de shaw , Accenture , oyo, Swiggy. I have a plan of Doing MBA after doing Bcom H form hansraj college
