The University of Delhi (DU) has released the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) Undergraduate Information Brochure for the 2026-27 academic session. Students seeking admission to various undergraduate programs must take note of the updated guidelines and mandatory requirements.
Key Highlights of DU UG Admission 2026
- CUET UG 2026 Mandatory: Admission to all UG programs will be based solely on the CUET UG 2026 scores.
- Subject Mapping Rule: Candidates must appear in CUET UG 2026 only in those subjects they have studied and passed in Class 12.
- Single Portal: All admissions will be processed through the official CSAS portal (admission.uod.ac.in).
- Unchanged Rules: Despite UGC relaxations, DU has retained its strict criteria regarding Class 12 subject alignment.
DU UG 2026 Registration Guidelines & Process
The admission process is divided into three critical phases:
- Phase I: CSAS Registration
- Candidates must register on the DU CSAS portal using their CUET Application Number.
- Personal and academic details must be filled in carefully.
- Documents needed: Class 10 & 12 certificates, Caste/EWS certificate (if applicable), and a scanned photo/signature.
- Phase II: Preference Filling
- After CUET results are out, candidates must map their Class 12 subjects with the CUET papers they appeared in.
- Candidates will then select their preferred combinations of Programs and Colleges. It is advised to select as many preferences as possible.
- Phase III: Seat Allocation & Admission
- Seats will be allocated based on CUET scores, category, and preference list.
- Once a seat is allocated, the candidate must "Accept" it within the stipulated time to remain in the race.
