- Our college area is biggest in south campus of Delhi University
- Our college has a well mentioned and organised amphitheatre
- Our college faculty is also being good for most of the courses

- The old building of the college is not so good
- The sports Material available in our college is not too plenty
- There is no common room for boys in our college
Internships Opportunities:
Our college has provide a numerous of internship in many fields and most of it being paid . Average stipend is being 8000-9000 per month from our college . HRs, business development executive, video editor, are some of the intern field provided by our placement cell of dayal singh college

Likes
- The faculty of Engli8sh department is very supportive, experienced as well as very approachable. Their teaching style is something i liked very much, the discussion session, critical thinking and deep analysis helped me alot.
- Campus is another aspect which makes your college life amazing and no doubt this college is quite vibrant and active. The societies for literature, dance and drama; Regular events, fests and seminars giving students chance to explore.
- The major advantage is location of the college since it is right next to the JLN Stadium Delhi Metro station. The library is spacious, decent classrooms and greenery all around specially the "Rose Garden" in the college, famous student spot.
Dislikes
- Some washrooms need better cleanliness and regular maintenance although the college had started working on it and to improve hygiene and sanitation.
- The infrastructure in a few older blocks feels outdated but the renovation work had started. Better ventilation and seating is also being worked on.
- Placement in humanities section is limited, while internships are available and more companies are to be invited in the campus.
Internships Opportunities:
The college offers decent internship oppurtunities through its Placement Cell and various societies. Most internships are related to writing, research, marketing and NGO work.
Common companies offering internships are-
Tech for India- offering roles in teaching, community outreach, content creation and research.
AIESEC- social projects and marketing roles.
DU based soceities like magazine editing, organizing literray events and academic assistence.

- For every subject even it is VAC or SEC there is a teacher authorised by our college so you can choose whatever subject you want
Dislikes
- Our college infrastructure is very old it should be modernised
- Our college canteen is unhygienic to some some extent
Internships Opportunities:
Our college evening placement cell offer's many intership opportunities as compared to morning cell . But if you're a morning student you can apply for evening placement cell also.
The average stipend provided by our college is around 5 to 15 thousand per month

- Location-wise, I found Dyal Singh College as one of the best in all of DU.
- There are lots of Societies and they are very active.
- The college canteen is impressive, well maintained, affordable, serves lots of cuisines.
Dislikes
- The area around the college is pretty expense, the living cost near college is pretty high and the college doesn't have a hostel.
- Some people might find the College politics to be slightly extreme, but that's the case with almost all the DU colleges.
- There are some subjective cons like campus size is good but not "huge" (11.5 - 12 acers), location is off campus, there aren't frequent fests like some other south/north campus colleges, etc.
Internships Opportunities:
The college has placement cells; there are two different placement cells, one for morning students, one for evening. They have WhatsApp groups and very frequently share internship opportunities. Once you apply, they help you prepare.

- The campus is huge and has a lot of greenery which is a plus.
- There are people from diverse backgrounds which is a great thing and leads to meaningful interactions whether in class or otherwise.
- The course is structured and organised in a way that targets critical thinking and awareness.
Dislikes
- There could be better cleanliness in the women's washroom and availability of sanitary napkins.
- There is no photocopy shop inside the campus which is problematic
Internships Opportunities:
There are university offered merit based scholarships such as to work in the admissions office during University admissions and internship fairs organised with several companies. There are better opportunities and more so in courses that are technical, like B.com Hons, eco Hons, politician science etc.

- The campus is quite large with a vibrant environment.
- It has good connectivity as it is near to metro station.
- The college societies are very actively working
Dislikes
- Academic block is decent but some buildings are old.
- There is no hostel facility for students.
- The college canteen food is very average.
Internships Opportunities:
Many companies such as KPMG, PwC, Accenture etc has taken interns from our college in the past.
The highest stipend in the past was around 40000.
The cell organises webinars, workshops and seminars to prepare students to maximize their chances.

- The campus of Dyal Singh College always inject fresh energy into students .
- I am in my first year and selection in the societies was purely on merit and not poltics.
- In selection politics might not have taken a role but in Dyal Singh College Political debates are always on.
Dislikes
- It's the campus infrastructure as aot of restoration is required.
- Sone local students literally threatened during upcoming Delhi elections to vote for them.
- Protests are a regular feature at DSC campus as any national issue happens and students of DSC will start protesting.

Internships Opportunities:
Not any extravagant intenrships but college provides us Internships in core things which we are studying. So we have to be involved with politics pundits or researcher roles and similar intenrships like that are provided. So that we get much needed experience that we need.

- The professors out there are really great with ample amount of knowledge in their field.
- Societies and extracurricular activities are very active offering great exposure and opportunities.
- The fee structure is very affordable facilitating education for all.
Dislikes
- The infrastructure, washrooms and canteen need maintenance.
- No placements for non technical courses.
- Administrative workings are very slow at times.
Placement Experience:
The campus placement is fairly good with kpmg, Deloitte, Genpact, Accenture. The average package usually ranges from Rs 5-6 LPA while highest have gone to Rs 23 lakhs in recent years. The placements are bagged by proactive students usually with good communication skills and academic records.

- Our college's basketball court is one of the best and our college basket ball team has done well too over the years.
- College's Amphitheatre is also one of the best in DU.
- College has research facilities in its campus and faculties and students both are involved in researches here.
Dislikes
- DSC is not a Tier-1 College of DU as placements are little slim than top DU Colleges.
- Infrastructure needs a serious look as it is power and probably we are one of those who still faces power cuts.
- Boys and Girls Ratio is also not so fair as boys are in majority and constitute of 70% of the total crowd.
Internships Opportunities:
Research professors and media houses like HT MEdia and others offers us placements. Also Niti Aayog placement portal is one way of applying for paid internship program. Internships stipend are based on the the roles offered as for miniscule roles, stipend of 6-8k is offered while for major internship roles, stipend as good as 20k is also offered.

- I like the faculty. The teachers are pretty understanding and supportive.
- The infrastructure is decent. Could be improved a bit though.
- A secure environment. Metro station is at walking distance.
Dislikes
- I feel like infrastructure could be improved.
- Sanitary products and medical rooms should be there
Placement Experience:
2nd and 3rd semester students become pretty eligible for placements and internships via placement cell or other sources. My plans after my degree are still academic. I want to complete my MSc and Phd from well acknowledged universities.
