Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course is quite nice according to b.com when it comes the classes were quite regular and if you want to study you can easily take classes and study. The exams used to happen on time. Timely classes used to happen. These are the best points that grabbed my attention. But when it gets compared to b.com(h) there advantage was quite high in terms of syllabus and everything.

Internships Opportunities

2

The internships are quite less and even if they are available they are mostly for sales. Even though you can also get good internships in sales which can provide you a stipend of 10000 roughly but that was not my thing.

Placement Experience

4

There are a lot of opportunities available when it comes to placement. Approximately 30 companies visited in which there were companies like KPMG, EY, GENPACT, L&T. A lot of students got placed approximately a percentage of 70-80%. Others did not sit for it as there were other plans of them.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is more or less between 25000-30000 for the whole graduation. It may increase by a little difference but not as huge difference because it is from central university .Scholarships were not available as far as I know. Whereas this fees comes as low as 15000 for three years for categories like SC, ST and OBC.

Campus Life

5

There were a lot of clubs that you can go for. Interviews are taken by the senior faculties. Timely events also happen so that you can take part in them and enjoy your college life. Taking part in societies is the best thing as it also enhances you personality.

Admission

I wanted to get into the best colleges of Delhi university but because of my percentage I could not get into one. But when I compared it to other colleges that I was offered there were differences in first location it is in very clean and nice area as it is located in south Delhi. Second thing is placement as placements were better than the other colleges. The admission procedure at my college is same in Delhi university based on percentage but now it has been updated to CUET scores where you have to choose your preferences and then according to your score you get your college.

Faculty

4

The faculty was quite chill and easy to cop with. The relationship between the student and faculty was quite easy as there are groups and classrooms from which you can have access to them. The course structure that I was in was typically semester wise and there were semester exams. There were internals as well in which tests mostly used to happen and on the basis of that marks were decided.

Night Life

4

We were in south Delhi. So there are ample opportunities as you can go ride a yulu. Go to India gate and have ice cream at night. You can also explore clubs and everything very easily as they are easily accessible.

Placement Experience:

The college provides internship opportunities from the 2nd year onwards. The college provides 20-30% definite placements to the students. And almost 80% of students get internship experience and exposure from the college itself. Placement packages are average but also depend on the person and his/her skills. The average package ranges from 2.5-3.5 lacs approximately. Top recruiting companies like AIMS India, Insurance companies, and E&Y. Many more companies visit onboard for the opportunity of Jobs and internships. My immediate step after the degree of graduation is to have practical experience in the real world and work to gain that exposure and have my further studies post that.

It has a great academic value and tops the chart of the best colleges in DU also the faculty is pretty co-operative. It has a great exposure to sports also. Hansraj College is well maintained and has a beautiful infrastructure. It provides you with every facility. Most importantly it is well known for its academic approach.

Shaheed Bhagat Singh College has been instrumental in providing me the platform to fine-tune my existing skills as well develop new ones. Having spent two years in college now, I can say that the college has provided me ample opportunities to grow and flourish both individually and professionally. With extremely helpful and experienced faculty members, I am certain that I took the right decision to join this college. If you have the will to work and seize every opportunity that comes your way, look no further and be apart of the SBSC family. Only negative point is that college dont have own hostel.

I would say that my college is surely a good one its a really prestigious college and after living there for 3 years i get to know why it is that much prestigious. But if there is positive sides there are negative sides as well. College should have to take care of the infrastructure of the college which is quite poor and old too.
