Remarks

It has a great academic value and tops the chart of the best colleges in DU also the faculty is pretty co-operative. It has a great exposure to sports also. Hansraj College is well maintained and has a beautiful infrastructure. It provides you with every facility. Most importantly it is well known for its academic approach.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course I chose was B.COM and I am highly satisfied with the faculty and their way of teaching. I never felt as if I am left behind. They were eager to help me out anytime. Also the course syllabus was up-to-date. We were given practical as well as theoretical examples of our subject time to time.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 3500 per year

I have interned in CRYSTAL company for 2 months and was provided with 5000 stipend

Placement Experience

The placement rate of my college is pretty good. The college arrange for campus placement with every facility. The company which approaches for providing jobs are quite known and famous. The placement department remains very active throughout the year and tries to help every student.

College Events

My college hosts every type of fest and events. It is an active participant in every competition and activity whether it is intra school or inter school. The management of the events and programmes are also up to the mark.

Fees and Financial Aid

I haven't availed any such facility but I know my college provides financial aid to all the needy students. Also, campaigns and other social events were also raised to help the students financially.

Campus Life

The best part of my college was it's infrastructure. It is constructed with red bricks all over. There's a wall on which portrait of famous personalities graduated from my college has been put. It has all the facilities from playground to canteen to auditorium to library, we have access to everything. It also has amphitheatre. Labs are well equipped and maintained. It is surrounded by plantation.

SOL the best college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had taken admission in SOL for BCOM HONS because my stream was in 12th commerce so I had preferred to go in the commerce line. On the other hand, I had to do CA so this line is similar to this that's why I applied for it. Bcom Hons exam conducted annually (part1,2,3) annual mode when I took admission. it is not difficult for me because I studied all subjects in CA so it is easy to pass exams for me.

The college provides internship opportunities from the 2nd year onwards. The college provides 20-30% definite placements to the students. And almost 80% of students get internship experience and exposure from the college itself. Placement packages are average but also depend on the person and his/her skills. The average package ranges from 2.5-3.5 lacs approximately. Top recruiting companies like AIMS India, Insurance companies, and E&Y. Many more companies visit onboard for the opportunity of Jobs and internships. My immediate step after the degree of graduation is to have practical experience in the real world and work to gain that exposure and have my further studies post that.

According to the official college reports the average package offered to the students is 6 lac per annum and the highest package offered to the students was 21 lac per annum. The recruiter's list could see big names like Bain & Co., Zomato, McKinsey & Company, Deshaw & Co., EY among many others. The students start applying for the placements around the 5th and 6th semesters. Many students also get Pre Placement Offers depending upon their performances in their internships. B.com (HONOURS) is a very diverse field, so after completing my Bachelor's degree I aspire to pursue Chartered Accountancy.

Having spent two years in college now, I can say that the college has provided me ample opportunities to grow and flourish both individually and professionally. With extremely helpful and experienced faculty members, I am certain that I took the right decision to join this college. If you have the will to work and seize every opportunity that comes your way, look no further and be apart of the SBSC family. Only negative point is that college dont have own hostel.

I would say that my college is surely a good one its a really prestigious college and after living there for 3 years i get to know why it is that much prestigious. But if there is positive sides there are negative sides as well. College should have to take care of the infrastructure of the college which is quite poor and old too.

A true review about DU

I applied to srcc for bcom but couldn't due to my marks and the cutoff was high, i applied into shaheed sukhdev school of business studies but again i lacked a bit marks. My College Life at Hansraj College

I had applied to other Du north Campus college as well Such as Kirori mal, ramjas, SGTB and venkateshwar College as well. But out of all these colleges the course i opt at mine was the top rated course in whole DU at my college So my preference was with Hansraj only first of all And also the environment of the course was really good. Hansraj College - University of Delhi

I chose this college because of its stellar crowd and opportunities that are available here. Something which went wrong in my ceut preparation due to which I could not get a better college that is SRCC is basically silly mistakes in my exams and nothing else. I missed the cutoff for SRCC by 1 question and thats all. The admission process was quite easy as there is a common portal called the CSAS portal through which the admission process took place and everything was online and quite easy. I applied to St. Xavier's Kolkata and was selected in their Bsc Eco hons program. However when I got Hansraj , I withdrew my admission simply because of the vast networking experience I will get at Hansraj which is a little less in St Xavier's. The eligibility for Hansraj is CUET exam where one has to appear for english plus accountancy/mathematics and 2 other subjects that they have studied in their Class 12. The admission process is based on CUET scores. Based on that, your name is shortlisted. There is no interview process in my college. You just have accept your college allotment and pay the course fees. The entire admission process takes place on Delhi University's admission counselling website. Reservation benefts are available.
