Remarks
The admission procedure is pretty straightforward. Interested students have to register with University of Delhi and pay a small registration charge. Cut offs are declared every 7-8 days after a month of announcements of class 12th results, and students meeting the cutoff can fill the application form of the college along with the fees and get themselves admitted and transfer themselves to other better colleges of the university in the subsequent cutoffs.(Rs.1000 charges are levied on cancelation of admission) The cut off of Kirori Mal College for B.Com hons lies between 97-99 % for General Category students.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose B.Com Hons because I want to become a CA and much of the curriculum is in line with the CA course. The Faculty : Student ratio is 50:1 approximately. The teachers are well qualified and use new innovative teaching practices. They are always ready to help. Exams were held in the Open book format due to the corona pandemic and they were easy to pass.
Internships Opportunities
The placement cell Avenues provides regular internship opportunities through whatsapp groups. The opportunities are both paid and unpaid. Recently D.E. Shaw visited the campus for hiring interns with a stipend of rs 50000/ month 9
Placement Experience

In the year 2020-21 130 students got placed and more than 135 companies visited the campus with 100+ diverse roles. The highest salary package was 19.22 lakhs and the average was 6.02 LPA. Fees and Financial Aid
The cost of studying here at Kirori Mal College is very low, since it is a government college. The annual fee for our course was around 12000 rs. Also scholarships are available for economically weaker students.
Campus Life
Life at Campus is fun, there are a lot of societies to keep the students engaged. Some of the best societies of our course are Commerce Society, FIC and Eneur which conduct regular seminars and competitions. The annual fests of Comsoc are Appulse (held in February) and Advent(held in November) with a wide range of speakers and competitions. The college has a fully air conditioned library with a huge range of books and magazines with adequate seating capacity. Classes are well ventilated and have good lighting. There is a boys hostel, indoor gym, basketball court, and a full size football ground within the college premises. The students run a wide range of initiates like Enactus, Comrcio, Comsoc, FIC, debating society, etc.
