Remarks:

• I chose Delhi University because of its name and so-called added value. It provides maximum exposure for personality development. • I chose Kamla Nehru College because it is one of the few good colleges of Delhi University which provide Psychology courses and is in New Delhi. • I wanted to study Psychology in college but due to less percentage and a deduction of 2.5% (as I didn't have Psychology in 12th grade) I couldn't get a seat in Psychology Honors. While going through the cut-offs I saw BA Programme course which provides graduation in 2 discipline subjects (Psychology and HRM). The BA Programme course is known to only few a people and isn't much advertised. • After being in Kamla Nehru College for a year I can say that it is a great college to be in. The teachers are great specifically for Psychology, they make the classes really interactive (through discussions), interesting (through examples) and informative (through providing extra material and out of the syllabus knowledge). The societies are amazing too, some notable societies are Enactus, Debate Society, Enigma and Adagio (dance societies).

Hindu college is ranked as one of the top 3 colleges of India for arts. It's faculty for my course is highly reputed. The university in itself is a big affiliation. The college provides great opportunity for individual growth.

Life and Times at Dyal Singh College

The admission process was simple, smooth and hassle-free. In the year 2020, right in the middle of the pandemic where we feared lots of hurdles, the entirely online process went as well as it could have been. There were no entrance tests then and the only eligibilty criterion was a good AISSCE percentage. I was a general candidate and availed no reservation benefits except for the 1% provided for a 'women's quota'. I hadn't experienced much confusion or inconvenience in the admission process then. I wanted to apply to Delhi university and you had to appear in CUET. The course eligibility included subjects such as accountancy, English, maths and economics. No cutoffs were released before appearing for the test and even before filling out preference sheet for colleges. Application form was available on the official website of CUET.
