What Students Say
Likes
- I enjoyed my college life in DSC. Thoigh it's off campus but it is situated at place of national importance.
- Practical laboratory are very well maintained
- If you are feeling bored in studies you can sit in amphitheater and relax your mind
Dislikes
- Fests - There was not a single fest organised in college in 2 years
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course as I came from a science background. Faculty is average here it's all about putting in your efforts and getting better day by day. 1:50 is the average ratio of faculty to students. All are qualified professors here and the best thing about DU is everything goes well according to the planned academic calendar. There is no bafflement among students regarding the academic schedule
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees depend on the course you are pursuing we have annual fees of 11.5k/ year. In B.Sc there are not great opportunities for placements but of course, there is a placement cell in college who time to time updates you about various job opportunities for students and if you are a good student and come in good books of your professor then your Professor can recommend you for internships and all.
Campus Life
Well since I have been in DSC I have only attended Freshers. Since then there have not been great fests organised though we have a decent infrastructure we have a good amphitheatre and ground which can organise a wonderful fest. Talking about the library I will rate it 10 it's the best feeling there you can read books of your choice or do your projects and all. Even you can make some new friends with the same traits in reading. We have a good seating capacity and great books covered in the library
Admission
I took admission in the Covid era at that time there was an option both to get admission i.e through merit cum based admission and through the entrance. Obviously getting a decent percentage in 12th Boards I choose merit cum based admission.
