Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU) was established by the Government of the NCT of Delhi. Under DSEU, there are approximately 15 campuses that provide a range of courses. In the fields of arts, science, commerce, management, computer application, and technology, DSEU provides degree programs as well as diploma programs. It provides full-time, part-time, and later-entry diplomas in addition to undergraduate and graduate degrees. Depending on the degree, admission is either based on prior academic performance or through entrance tests like CET, JEE Main, GATE, PG-CET, etc.

For all undergraduate degree programs (except BTech), DSEU provides a variety of entry and exit points. This implies that students may drop out of the course at any time and return at any time.

DSEU Admission 2024

DSEU provides admission for its more than 6000 seats in a variety of streams and courses, including diplomas, bachelor's degrees, and postgraduate programs. different courses at various levels have different eligibility requirements. Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University bases admission to its diploma programs on the CET result, whereas PEG, a profile test, is used to determine admission to its undergraduate programs. And the entrance to BTech and MTech programs are determined by JEE Main and GATE scores, respectively.

The NIMCET score is used by DSEU to determine admission to the MCA program. Additionally, students must pass the PEG Test, which measures personality, entrepreneurial spirit, and general aptitude. This exam must be taken, and the results may be displayed during the counseling sessions.

DSEU Placements

Over 100 campus placement drives were organized by DSEU campuses. Over 2500 job placement offers were made by organizations like Maruti, Bajaj Motors, LG, Sony, Deloitte, and many others. More than 26 organizations, 1600 students, and 1490 offers were made at a 3-day Job Utsav that DSEU organized in May. 2553 offers have been made so far through various placement efforts. A total of1063 students were placed through various campus recruitment initiatives. 1490 offers were distributed over a 3-day period. Companies participating in Job Utsav, including Maruti, New Allenberry, and Bajaj, have hired more than 200 students.

DSEU consists of 19 campuses located across Delhi. Okhla-I Campus was established in 1961 and it is located in Okhla, South East Delhi. Ashok Vihar campus was established in 1962 and it is located in Ashok Vihar, North West Delhi. Maharani Bagh Campus was established in 1962 and it is located in Maharani Bagh, South East Delhi. Pusa Campus was established in 1962 and it is located in Pusa, Central Delhi. Ambedkar Shakarpur Campus was established in 1986 and it is located in Shakarpur, East Delhi. Pitampura Campus was established in 1986 and it is located in Pitampura, North West Delhi. Rohini Campus was established in 1995 and it is located in Rohini, North West Delhi. DSEU Scholarships

The institute does not discourage anyone who has been chosen by the institute from continuing their education by offering a variety of scholarships and financial support to worthy individuals. Merit-based scholarships are scholarships that are intended for deserving applicants who are enthusiastic about pursuing higher education at Delhi's State Universities. Students must have been registered in an undergraduate or diploma program at one of the Delhi State Public Universities or at one of the colleges or institutions that are part of them to be eligible. Students who meet the income/economic and academic performance requirements as laid out for each of the categories below:

Stepping Stone Scholarship - For UG Students

This grant was created to help and inspire students to pursue higher education, specifically the bachelor's level courses at DSEU. A scholarship worth 25% of the total tuition costs will be offered. By going to the DSEU website, eligible students can submit an application for this scholarship. The "Merit-cum-Means Linked Financial Assistance Scheme for Pursuing Higher Education in State Universities of Delhi" is available to students who are enrolling in UG courses but are not eligible for it. Only applicants with an aggregate 10+2 GPA of 75% or more may submit an application.

Topper’s Scholarship

The top students who are enrolled in DSEU's full-time diploma program are eligible for this scholarship. Those who scored equal to or lower than 500 on the CET test for full-time diploma programs (excluding pharmacy) or equal to or lower than rank 15 on the CET exam for the DSEU pharmacy diploma are eligible. The students should not have received any other government or private scholarships or financial aid from national or state-run programs. The Topper scholarship does not require an application. It will be automatically given to the top-ranking students by DSEU.

Raman Kant Munjal Scholarship

The scholarship is meant for deserving students who need financial support. The scholarship is open to UG students enrolled in BBA or B.Com programs at BFSU or BPM. Students who have received an admissions letter may apply for it. Candidates for admission to the DSEU's BBA (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) and B.Com (Business Process Management) programs are eligible. 10+2 should have been finished by 2021. aggregate scores for the 10th and 12th grades must be at least 70%. The applicant's family should not make more than 4 LPA. By 31.05.2021, the candidate shall not be younger than 19 years old. The applicant ought to have used any further scholarships.

Ques. Are there any relaxations available for ST/SC candidates at DSEU Delhi?

Ans. DSEU Delhi provides a 5% relaxation in the qualifying aggregate percentage of marks during admission and for the fee waiver for ST/SC candidates.

Ques. How many seats are reserved at DSEU Delhi?

Ans. 85% of the seats in all the courses are reserved for the candidates belonging to the Delhi region, and 15% of the seats are for those belonging to regions outside Delhi. Then there are also seats reserved for reserved categories like

Likes

There are good teachers if individualy student wants to gain something. Even about day to day life.
Variety of subjects. Variety of courses available. Academic pattern is followed according to US University academics.
This university has just started 4 years ago. It will take time but it will grow slowly.

Dislikes

Sometimes the staff members are so less reactive.
There have been no sports events from past 16 months which leads to a bit of boredom to students.
Funds are not provided fairly for any events organised by clubs which leads to worse events.

Academic structure and curriculum in the campus

It gives a wide range of choice in subjects which students can opt according to their interests. But these choices are only provided in curriculum, in reality whole class is provided single subject according to faculty availability and knowledge of faculty member. Whatever the curriculum is having, it is prepared such that any individual studying it can face real-world problems. The exams happen twice a semester which is healthy rate but difficulty is not to much, any individual having a bit of knowledge can pass the exam easily.

What are the placement opportunities in the college?

Plenty of companies do visit our campus but majority of them come for BBA students. BCA is very less preferred by the companies to visit our campus. Even last batch who has passed this year, only 4 out of 60 students got the campus placement. Talking about semester - from 6th sem onwards students are eligible for placements. If the students can't get on campus placement then they can opt for of campus placements which can offer a bit even extra according to their skills.

Total fees structure of the course and scholarship

Initially I was asked to 132000 but till the ending i have to pay a total of 138000 for my 3 year degree. Whereas in normal private colleges this can easily go from 4.5-6 lakhs. There are plenty of scholarships available in the college. I haven't taken any employment till now.

Various clubs available in the campus

Overall campus life is okay okay. Not good not bad, but the major problem comes after the completion of degree. Socially it is so good because students comes from different backgrounds which helps to explore each and everyone. Their are plenty of clubs formed in the colleges - dance clubs, drama club, cultural club, sports club and many more. These clubs are just formed around a year ago so they are also evolving slowly, some events have happened in the past. Last year October, then November cultural events held in the campus but they didn't went well because of shortage of funds.

Faculty and learning experience in the campus

Faculty-to-student ratio is around 30:1. Their are teacher who just want to do their job but don't worry about students that they are taking knowledge or not whereas there are some teachers who will give you precious knowledge (some for syllabus, some for life). I can approach teacher whenever they are free(having no class).

Admission process of the college and eligibility criteria

Eligibility: 50% marks in 12th and the student should have math as a mandatory subject. Application form can be filled every year on the official website of DSEU. Reservation is 85% seats are booked for Delhi students. Admission can be taken on behalf of direct 12th percentage and also 10% weightage of CUET, but CUET is not mandatory. But 10% weightage marks will be lost in the rank card which is prepared for every individual before starting counselling. Then the ranks are divided on behalf of that and students can take admission according to cutoff and ranks. One improvement which can happen is the reservation for Delhi students can be decreased.

There is a sport room here... Lol, and a garden in centre

Campus is very small... There is only a backyard type place where you can play
There are no good fest here.... University doesn't give enough funds

I tried in du but cutoffs were very much high.... But i got into one off campus college which was very much far away from my home.... So i chosse this college as it is not much far from my home. Admission process of this college was quite smoth

As I got admission in my college was very good in infrastructure and other facilities but the college was not as much as I thought.it was was two multi storey building of college..

Admission:

I chose this college because it was state government college and fees was also very cheap which anybody can afford it. Also it was just 6km away from my home so everyday I can manage to come college from bus .. Admission process was done on the basis of my class 12th result that is on merit basis I got admission in this college.

The campus is big and have all the labs require for the practical of respective courses that they have.

Dislikes

Our University doesn't even have an AICTE approval which in my opinion should be mandatory for every engineering college.
Laboratory have very bad condition there are no equipment working there. All the computers and other equipments are dead which causes lack of practical knowledge.

Admission:

I choose this college because of fees and their placement rate I found that this is the best college among All the DSEU campuses for computer engineering and their placement rate is higher than other campuses. I applied for the same college in which I am studying but after admitting to this college I just lost all my hopes which I expected from this college. Admission process is online and maybe based on merit or exams. The eligibility that student should have passed his 10 froma recognised board.

I have like the placement opportunities of this campus they will give you many opportunities in reputative organisations like maruti suzuki and Tata motors etc.
I also like the infrastructure of the college

The classroom of this campus is not too good at rainy season the water will enter in our class rooms and also the entrance of the college

In my time I give the cet exam common entrance test I have grab the 2047 rank and chosse only 3 college in my 1st round of counselling 1st is pusa 2nd is gb pant and 3rd is dwarka campus. So in my 1st round they give me gb pant college and I take this because this college placement is very very good rather than others campus of dseu .

Candidates are advised to check if they meet the eligibility criteria for admission to various Diploma Courses. Candidates can follow the below process in order to apply for various courses at DSEU

Go to the official website of DSEU
Click on the prompt box giving information on apply now.
Select the type of curse you want to apply to i.e., Diploma, Bachelor or Post Graduation Courses.
After clicking on Apply now, you will be required in to fill the basic details such as name, mobile number, address, email ID, etc.
You will receive an application ID and password on the email ID.
Login using the same credentials given to you in the email.
Fill in all the required details in the application form
Click on submit and pay the application fees
Download or print the application form for further use.

DSEU BTech Admission is doned based on the JAC Delhi Counselling followed by the announced of the JEE Main Results. DSEU offers admission to several courses like MBA, MTech, MSc, BA, Diploma and PG Diploma courses. Students are also required to go through PEG Test which is Personality, Entrepreneurial mindset and the General Ability Test. This test is compulsory and scores of this test can also be showcased during the counselling rounds. Candidates should meet the following eligibility criteria in order to be selected for the Diploma course of DSEU Delhi:

Candidate Must Have Passed Class X Or Equivalent With Mathematics As A Subject.
Admissions Will Be Offered On The Basis Of Merit List Of Common Entrance Test.

For a B.Sc in Medical Laboratory Technology, the fee is INR 42,000 for the first year, for 2^nd year INR 46,000, and for 3^rd year INR 50,000 at the Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU), New Delhi. The eligibility varies for different courses at various levels. Admission to diploma programs at Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University is based on the CET score, however, admission to UG programs at DSEU is based on a profile test called PEG. In addition, JEE Main and GATE results are used to determine admission to BTech and MTech programs, respectively. In addition, DSEU admission to the MCA programme in 2022 is based on the NIMCET result.
