IIIT Delhi offers three hostels, two for boys and one for girls, along with accommodation for 22 married PhD students. Rooms are available in single, double, and triple occupancy, and are equipped with a bed, table, chair, bookshelf, cupboard, air conditioning in summer, and heating in winter. Hostels provide high-speed internet, and all services including food.

Hostel allotment occurs each monsoon semester, winter break, winter semester, and summer break. Hostel fees are revised annually, and the security deposit is refunded upon leaving. Government hostels are on campus, while private hostels are located off-campus.
