Remarks

Eligibility for admission in B. Com is that you must have to be passed out 10+2 with a recognised board or any such board. The application form will be made online available in the month of March- April for admission and we have to go to the college for the entrance exam and for admission formalities. There is a reservation of Muslim minority, Muslim women, Muslim OBCs students.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I want to pursue Chartered Account in the future and this is a well-recognised central university so its degree is valued a lot. Teachers are very well qualified and are masters in their subjects and were specialists. The examination is divided into six semesters and each semester is held in every six months.

Around after completion of 6th-semester students become eligible for campus placement. Many companies visit and offer to the student for internship and job highest average packages are around 7 lakh per annum normally 60% of student gets placement. I want to pursue c a degree in future

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees of this course is an average of Rs 22000 for 3 yrs graduation course of Bcom Hons which means we have to pay Rs 7600 per year excluding hostel fees. Many scholarships are also being provided to the meritious students for help in their future studies

Campus Life

Many events are also being organised here. Some book fairs, food fest and many events of sports are being organised here. There is a good library with new and updated books syllabus and we can easily get anything we want in terms of books for our study.

Hostel Facilities

The rooms of the hostel are very neat and clean and a 24*7 wifi facility is available with CCTVs installed and guards for the security of the student. The meal is very hygienic and has very good taste. We have to fill up the form in order to get admission to the college.

Placement Experience:

The college provides internship opportunities from the 2nd year onwards. The college provides 20-30% definite placements to the students. And almost 80% of students get internship experience and exposure from the college itself. Placement packages are average but also depend on the person and his/her skills. The average package ranges from 2.5-3.5 lacs approximately. Top recruiting companies like AIMS India, Insurance companies, and E&Y. Many more companies visit onboard for the opportunity of Jobs and internships. My immediate step after the degree of graduation is to have practical experience in the real world and work to gain that exposure and have my further studies post that.

It has a great academic value and tops the chart of the best colleges in DU also the faculty is pretty co-operative. It has a great exposure to sports also. The college infrastructure is quite decent. The curriculum is excellent. In-depth topics are been taught. We have subjects like art of rendering and model making which are not taught in most of the colleges. Teachers are excellent at their job. Good placements are offered where students can learn and excel in the field.

With extremely helpful and experienced faculty members, I am certain that I took the right decision to join this college. If you have the will to work and seize every opportunity that comes your way, look no further and be apart of the SBSC family. Only negative point is that college dont have own hostel.

I would say that my college is surely a good one its a really prestigious college and after living there for 3 years i get to know why it is that much prestigious. But if there is positive sides there are negative sides as well. College should have to take care of the infrastructure of the college which is quite poor and old too.

JMI -A good place for coder?

The main reason of rejecting other two colleges and joining Jamia was that Jamia is Central University. The second primary reason for joining Jamia was that I got my preferred branch here (Computer Engineering).
