It's a beautiful campus and well reputed university and the teaching staff is great with good experience
Every faculty members are not perfect but mostly are enough good with teacher and student bonding mind-blowing i can praise every staff members as well professors whose role is shaping students future wow
The hostels are quite decent and the food quality is also good.

Dislikes

THE 2ND CONS WILL BE ABOUT THE CAMPUS. SMOKING IS BAN IN CAMPUS BUT SOME CANTEENS SELL IT ILLEGALY WHICH IS NOT GOOD. 2. SOME CASES OF RAGING ARE ALSO SHOWN TIME TO TIME
In Jamia there is so many courses but the management for all courses are not enough good. Administration should take action regarding all the courses. Nowadays in jamia the management is going slow down. I mean it not effective in favour of students.
I don't like to Cheers of my university,and there are lots of things which have no importance of using in jamia Millia Islamia University and there are lots of disturbance in reading hall of jamia

Jamia internships are very helpful

Campus is very beautiful , very big and clean , Free medical services provided for students
Affordable fee and different types of scholarships
Different types of events organise regularly for students

Dislikes

To get a room in hostel in 1st year is very rare
The strength of student in campus is very high
Jamia millia islamia should built more hostels

Placement Experience:

Students generally sit for placement in 6th or 7th semester commpanis like tcs, wipro, infosys offering jobs here in engineering department highest package is of 40 lpa and avg 10-12 lpa almost 80% student placed my plane is to complete my masters after current course

There is good curriculum that influence my decision to choose bds courses... I want to complete my dentist from here and then mds from aiims .. I am to young to give suggestions about curriculum improvement.. There should be interactive lecture..

My college life.

Likes

Professors and their teaching methods,I like the campus and different departments.
Some teachers are really good , always ready to help and support while some are always in bad mood .
The campus is built beautifully and all the necessary equipments are available.

Dislikes

Some professors are not supportive and get angry easily.
I didn't like their 75% attendance criteria as we need more time for our personal growth apart from just being in college.
I don't like college timings and timetable.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's a very nice course ,It prepares us for many hardships .We proudly claim that we are doctors and we help people eat and chew their favorite meals and provide smiles to them. The curriculum is set very accurately.Exam level is good .

Jamia has best sports complex and it always stand on top for extra curriculum activities for students. But i think jamia needs some more improve about 75% attendance policy.
The faculty of jamia university is incredible. They have rich in knowledge and their nature is so good and helpful. All professior and dean are best ever i seen.
Infrastructure of my department is so unique. The sanatory conditions is so best and its building has much of floors and very eco friendly complex.

Dislikes

Sometimes students is worried about strict rule of 75% attendance.
Jamia should imcrease their hostel intake. Because very less students selects for hostel. Many of students remains left for hostel facilities. Because PG rooms near jamia is very expensive.

From third year student can practice their privately. But officially jamia provides 8 months internship program for medical student and also for other courses. Recently jamia pay an intern approx 31000? per month for internship. Almost 70% students got easily placement in jamia. My plan after getting degree I'll go for masters in dental in i wants to become an MDS oral surgeon.

Jamia Millia Islamia - A Place Where You Completely Changes!

Likes

The fees is very low as it is government
But Quality education is provided in such a low fees because it is central university
The boys girls ratio is less that is boys is more and girls are low but that's not any case like reserved seat for any gender it depends on the entrance exam which you have to clear

Dislikes

Dislike is very less as it is very good university
If Little bit of upgradation to the lab will be done it will also enhance it
But the labs are like not bad they are good

The placement of my specific course that is diploma in electrical engineering is excellent and every one got placed whoever applied in our class my branch . Placements start from last year 5th sem . Many companies hire diploma in electrical students. Some companies Voltas Dubai branch also came and took 3 students with a package of 12 lakh per annum indian rupees and many more companies which offered from 15 thousand to 30 thousand. Percentage of students was very good like whoever applied hot the jobs . Average package -25 thousand highest -1 lakh. But talking about me I did not want job I wanted to do Bachelors.

Likes

There are full classes in college. No class is left.
The faculties are super good. They teach in perfect maner that anyone can study.
There are no more holidays except the government leaves.

Dislikes

There is carelessnss for the students. The students who don't want to study they don't study.
Guards are very lazy. They don't see the id cad perfctly.
Many festivals are celebrated with enthusiasm.

Placement Experience:

Placements are offered as the last year tge highest placement was 24.5 lakhs. Many persons get the placement around 15 to 20 lakhs therefkre the averahe is good.. Manh companies like tisco, tcs, infosys, etc has come for the placements.

Likes

The university is often praised for its peaceful environment.
As a Central University, the courses are highly cost-effective and provide great value for money.
The university has an extensive and well-maintained library system.

Dislikes

I have face Issues with administrative speed and processes
So many labs machine demands to be changed.
The syllabus is not up to date with what is needed for the current situation.

The students become eligible to sit in the placement in their 4th year . I can say there are so many of companies that generally visit to recruit the students. In Jamia Millia Islamia mechanical department out of 70, 52 student got placed. My plan is to sit in placement if I got what I want I will accept otherwise I will look for offline campus placement

Jamia Millia Islamia is all over good for investment return good placement and low fee

The professor are very humble and good college environment for student who is focused on more study is good because the library is good and the surrounding too minor thing which should be improve like projectors and good seats
There is farewell in jamia many society to join art galleries u can visit other departments and interact with the students good balance social life for hostel students it is more good
Faculty staff is good teacher come and give their best to make us understand the topics and lecture theory subject and practical subject both make us understand the the topic more easily

Dislikes

Students are not open minded this is kinda bad sometime water laughing and the guards behaviour
Infrastructure is good but not so good college is 100 year old so it's old infrastructure lab is mid like instrument work usually without issue
I would say there is more society should be so I can enjoy more life games society girls ratio is actually good in my class 20 girls and 40 boys

The on campus placement are available in college and many companies come to college to placement the tech branches are most placement capture than core and tech placement are good with average package of 11lpa and placement percent are good in electronics 2025 the 4.5lpa is median packages and 6lpa is average package the 18lpa is the highest package the 40+ company visited in the campus like accenture

My Experience Around Jamia Millia Islamia

Likes

The faculty here is one of Jamia's biggest strengths-knowledgable, approachable , and genuinely invested in student's growth.
Campus is super beautiful - a blend of calm and culture - green spaces , a well equipped library and labs that support learning
the one of the best thing is it is super affordable it is for students from all walks of life

Dislikes

The hostel fees is not that affordable moreover hoste academic calender doesnt align with college academic calender
Old infrastructure needs to be renovated. Clean drinking water is basic neccesity so all the water coolers should be fixed around the campus
Placement and Internship opportunities are still growing in bachelors degree .

I would rate the course curriculum 7.5/10 I chose this course because it was giving me a chance to choose among 5 subjects - maths, geography, computer science, chemistry, physics Lab work yes, helps build intellectual skills and curriculum helps you build in quantitative mindset needed to succeed There are one main exam per semester
