All about NIU

Likes

the infrastructure and vibe of the college is really good
it is really affordable when compared to other colleges of greater noida
examinations are not really difficult (being regular in lectures and studying thoroughly gets you a good score)

Dislikes

the attendance criteria is little difficult to be fulfilled(75%)
no as such crowds for clubs (there are quite a few but not up to the mark) and curricular stuff. if it really matters to you so must consider this point
Alot of local crowd (non sincere) affecting the aura of lectures and stuff

Academic structure and curriculum in the campus

the curriculum is based on Naac and is similar to other colleges, if you consider major subjects there wont be any lacked as an engineering student . there would be some subjects that would be really important and some that are required to be passed only. the curriculum can be improved by adding research based subjects and new demanding technologies instead of old traditionals one. As per the difficulty level the timing and frequency of exams is manageable not problamatic. I have scored in 70s-80s in my school and here i am able to manage my cgpa in 8 -9.

What are the internship opportunities in the campus?

I have not got any internships yet but it is provided by college the roles differ from software developer to datascience, ai and other in our department. you will need to qualify for that by getting thriugh all the process required like aptitude, technical round and interview. good projects really help in interview if you have got deep knowledge of what you have implemented.

Various companies recruiting from the campus and average package being offered

Mostly from 6 semester you are eligible to work anywhere and ask for your NOC but if consider campus placements you are eligible to sit in beginning and between your last year (in 7 or 8 semester) companies visited are mostly service-based and startups but it gets improved every year. Tcs ,wipro,accenture and few other) the average package expected gets around 5-6 lpa and higher as well the percentage of students getting placed is about 60% My plans after the degree is to sit for placements though i also plan to do my masters from abroad.

Yearly fees structure of the course and scholarship

so the fees for a year is 132000 (as 66000 per semester) and it remains same for the duration of course .though it gets increased every year for freshers. here is the breakup- tutuion fees -53000 exam fees- 12000 activity fees-1000 Do consider a hike of 10-15% in total as the data is as of 2022 when i took admission. still if you compare with other colleges there it is quite affordable. For SC and ST there is no as such scholarships. though you must consult admission deptt before taking admission You can scholarships on the basis of merit while taking admissions.and once you get enrolled you can apply for govt scholarships like UP ..if u got selected expect about 55000 to get paid (+1 here if you are OBC ,SC or ST)

Various clubs, sports and library of the college

the annual fest is organized in december with Dj night and alot of other competetions in various clubs (be it singing, dancing, bands, painting, mimicking etc.) the fest is really fun. the availabiltiy of books is really good you can easily get your course books from library also e-library is available. the facilties in classroom includes projectors and smart boards but not every class is air-conditioned the sports ,NSS, NCC is also there and offers different different activities over time. You can join technical club and others and it will make you explore alot other than studies.

What are facilities available in the college hostel?

the facilties include ac or cooler ( meant to be chosen ),attached washrooms with gycer and other basic facilties. Rooms are available as single occupency ,double or triple sharing AC is optional (and charges more) Meal is ofcourse not really good but can be eaten to survive . there is alot of options to choose from different hostel to pgs or flats .first come and explore and can see what suits you best. registration is simple it can be done along admission by paying annual fees of hostel (typically 1.5 to 2 lacs)

Faculty and examination pattern of the college

the faculty to student ratio is appreciable. The faculties of our department are really approachable. sometimes the management within the departments lacks but it gets managed the only problem is that alot of faculties keep quiting the university especially the good ones. The best faculties that left college includes (Abhinav Srivastava sir, Kunwar Babar sir ,Sneha mam, Abhilekha mam, Pragya Mam etc) but the current faculties who are really GOOD includes our HOD Arjit Tomar sir and faculties from placement are really really best including Vibha Khajanchi mam, Prashant sir and Vikas sir as thier teachings and trainings are really appreciable. and talking about EXAMS it is based semester wise in our time the mid-sem was included but now only the end-sem of 60 marks happened and rest 40 marks are assignments,attendance and presentations. more than 60% students clear exams in one go (the exams are really not difficult attending classes regularly is enough to score well. )

What is the admission process of the campus?

the other colleges i applied was through counselling of AKTU but i was not able to get CS in the colleges I applied. also i visited this college and really find it affordable and liked it as it offered me CS directly. yes I got rejected in some colleges I applied as my score of JEE was not 90 percentile+. here at NIU the admission process is really simple. Requirements include being eligible for the course and availability of seats. (being eligible with good marks in 12 in pcm will get you some scholarship as well .

Night Life

Hostels for our university are NOT in campus it is provided at 10-15 km distance from campus that is in knowledge park though bus facility is provided time to time . So living outside campus -library, cafeteria and other food spots are accesible till 5 or 6 in the evening. the locality of hostel is safe to roam outside but the greater noida is all like deserted somewhat. hostel timings differ but you can manage as per you.

My college is a very nice college for every student who want live a real college life

Ita very good for social interaction because they gives you so much freedom that you will not regret to be in college

Dislikes

They should clean bathroom properly and timely
They should make their parking big and and different room for putting helmet
They should conduvt more events for student

Admission:

Because i like its campus and it is beautiful in looking and and best for studying and enjoying college life no heavy restrictions and study not so much heavier for student and teachers are also good through review

Likes

The university premises is HUGE, with many gardens and parks where you can relax during breaks.
The overall environment is very peaceful, and ragging, atleast for me was non existent
The exposure you get in this college was the first thing that attracted me. There is a significant amount of foreign students, especially affricans.

Dislikes

The location of this university is a real problem, especially for people who come on their own transport or taxis. 80 rs. Daily from metro to the university is pretty expensive
The wifi is very slow and you have to login every time you live it's proximity

Admission:

I chose Delhi University during my selection of Universities before CUET, but since there was no course of International Relations present in DU and JNU on Bachelor's level, I instead opted for Noida international University. The admission process is pretty simple, you just need to get 50% or higher in your boards and you are good to go. This university prefers Boards, but CUET will work too.

The campus life in NIOS pretty vibrant you meet people of all backgrounds even I had classmate who was from Nigeria and overall the campus life of NIU pretty well you could save in better than most colleges in greater Noida
Quality of infrastructure is definitely commendable one could say that the architects have done a very fine job making all these buildings and the unique Greek style of buildings is really unique in this university
The environment of this colleges quite friendly the college is not at all over crowded I would say that it's worth a while staying in this college

Dislikes

The Wi-Fi of the universities pretty bad considering that your phone never received signal from regular SIM cards
The campus life and and I use pretty vibrant you meet also people from different backgrounds
The location of this universities farway from the regular City so you will need at least 40 minutes to travel from the from your area to the university

Admission:

For the admission process you can get admission as soon as the board results is out if you get more than 80% in your board exams you could get around 25% of on your early fee if you get more than 95% you could get more than 50% of on your early and if you are from a defence background you get a flat 20% of really affect your scholarship is well

Infrastructure is quite impressive and the university life is cool here

Admission:

The admission here is direct based on 12th scores and eligibility is having pcm and yes the university should be accepting admission Though they are private so always ready for new admissions The course I have taken here not upto the mark as other courses in the same university. My friends opted for other pvt college in gr Noida are doing better

Overall infrastructure is good looking, they have made bulidings like foreign colleges.
There are so many gardens in the campus and greenery is everywhere.
Recently one new building for management students is made by them.

Admission:

I didn't have given JEE EXAMINATION so I have chosen this university as there were only eligibility criteria i.e. 60%+ in class 12. And I was impressed by seeing the campus. The crowd is decent not like that of galgotias university. Internships is given to each and every students. Placements depends on student's performance and academic report.

All about NIU

Likes

the infrastructure and vibe of the college is really good
it is really affordable when compared to other colleges of greater noida

Dislikes

Alot of local crowd (non sincere) affecting the aura of lectures and stuff
no as such crowds for clubs (there are quite a few but not up to the mark) and curricular stuff. if it really matters to you so must consider this point

The development of this university is slow and is under process

Admission:

I choose this college because at that time the fee of this college is less as compared to other colleges in this region. And like its infrastructure, location and environment of this university. At other colleges in greater noida, there is too much crowd outside of the colleges leading to high traffic jam. NIU is at outer side so no such problems we are facing. There is no such GD or PI for your admission in this college. You jast have to submit the documents they asked for only. And you got the admission.
