The number of placements are high but the avg packages grabbed by the students isn't so high, it does show that mostly the mass recruiters come to the clg like CTS, infosys or cognizant etc... though some good level companies also come like HCL, TCS, Wipro and TATA consultancy. I believe there were about 1000 recruiters that came last year and about 11,000 placements were offered and the highest LPA was around 61 lakh rs. The percentage of students getting placed were around 90%.
Total fees of Btech CSE in Amity University is INR 16,00,000+ for the full course over 4 years. Year wise it's around INR 4,00,000+. I didn't enrolled for hostel but I do know it costs around INR 12000+ per month. There can be other travelling expenses if you are day scholar like me, It takes me around INR 3,000+ per month for travelling to college. I travel in a car pool, we divide the expense of fuel in 4 people. There are other minimal charges for purchasing some extra mandatory courses like NPTEL which clg forces you to take it costs INR 1,000 but it's a one time thing and there can be some charges for lab work things like lab files, folders, printouts etc which is needed every semester. Doesn't matter if you are hosteller or not you do not get any type of lunch service included in the hostel fees, so you need to buy food every day from the canteen if you are hosteller. Then There's the scholarship, you can get upto 100% scholarship based on your JEE merits. But to maintain the scholarship every year you need to maintain cgpa of 9+. So this is the overall fees structure and I think that it is increasing slightly every semester...
There are some good companies to get internship in but most of the internships are the ones in which you need to pay for the training... Getting an internship which pays you is actually very tough here.
As I said before the faculties are alright in terms of their competency but not so much for their forgiving nature on the attendance thing. About exam things, there are two types of exams, minors and majors, minors are the exams which are basically the mid terms then the majors are end semester exams. Minor exams are usually 20-30 marks depending on the subject, majors are almost all 100 marks exams including the internal marks which are given by the faculties on the basis of factors like behaviour, file completion, marks obtained in class tests and attendance. Yes attendance have marks here, if you have 95%+ attendance then you get 5 marks, if from 90-95% then 4, 85-90% you get 3, for 80-85% you get 2, for 75-80% you get just 1 and then if you get less than 75% you need to give the B-cap exam, and if less than 70% you don't even get to give the B-cap you are straight up debarred and then you can give that exam in the next odd/even semester depending on which semesters that exam was in. All exams are on the average level of difficulty and most of the students were able to clear them. Though I would say not every subject we were taught were of use to us, because students of computer science were taught history, chemistry, biology and other useless subjects in some semesters of the college. The facilities are quite approachable but a few faculties only allow CRs to communicate with them at anytime (by anytime I mean anytime from 9-5, because after these hours they don't pickup calls or respond to texts). I liked Dr Nisha mam who was communication skills teacher, I liked her because she taught some very valuable lessons on personality development that I needed a good lot. She was also very lenient and very helpful in a lot of situations and treated every student with respect. I didn't liked my DBMS faculty, Dr Anil Sharma because he was quite strict with everything. He wouldn't let you even enter the class of you were just 10 minutes late.
Before Amity I actually enrolled in Bennett University of greator Noida, the reason I left Bennett was because of two reasons, one being that Amity's infrastructure was slightly better than benett, and other was that Bennett was way too far from my home and as I was a day scholar It was very expensive and time consuming for me to go to Bennett everyday. So I transferred to Amity University of Noida. Amity usually have an entrance exam which I didn't had to give because of my good merits in 10th and 12th cbse board exams but I've heard form people who give the entrance exam they say it's very well balanced with tough and easy questions so it's fair. The minimum criteria is around 70% in the 12th board exam. Now if I compare my clg with others I would say it fares pretty well in terms of the exposure, infrastructure and quality of education and opportunities provided. But it still it does lacks in the terms of the avg packages that students grab. Even though the job placements is high the package isn't so.
I think the curriculum and the topics we were taught in the computer science field were quite important for the course and all the necessary topics that would be needed for jobs were taught. I chose this course because of its vast opportunities in the job sector, there are one too many options for a cse student to go for in the industry field. Some improvements in the teachings method would be to teach with reference to some good books because we only get taught by some ppt that the faculties have so it's tough to follow the topics from a reference book that you purchased. The time between minor and major exams are enough to prepare for the exams but I believe there should be at least a week of preparatory leave before the exams and also maybe after the mid term exam give some days of rest for the students.
The infrastructure and campus is really good and there are a lot of greenery in the campus as well so its good. There are a lot of events happening around every festival and there is the biggest event which is AYF (Amity Youth Fest) in which some big celebs has come to the clg and there were concerts and performances as well. AYF is usually held around march. About the library, there are a good amount of books available that you can take for free you just need to get it registered every once in a month or you'll be fined about 5 rupees every day you keep the book without getting it registered every once in a month. Within the classrooms there are projectors and within the labs there are desktops but a lot of times the desktops or the projectors do not work properly so we need to call the staff to get it fixed, it doesn't take a lot of time to get fixed but still. The extracurricular activities are a ton here every year there's a big sports event as well which is called Sangathan in which every department competes against each other in a tournament for almost every sport. All the sports can be played by anyone for free but to get selected for teams you'll need to pass some tests. There are tons of clubs to get enrolled in, acting, dancing, singing, sports, tech, etc... they offer great exposure and get you to engage in group projects and help you build your resume.

I did applied for my masters in DU but didn't got it and didn't wanted a gap year so I applied for amity university. And the criteria for applying in amity is to fill the form and submit 2 or 3 videos which they asked and based on that students are selected

i had applied to some collegs under the mumbai university including Xaviers but there was no response. i got a seat in many of my local colleges in Kerala. Admission process to amity is Quite simple and convenient. you can apply at any time without rigid deadlines and as long as you meet the min criteria of clearing. i think it is 50% in 12th grade. admission is almost guranteed

There were various reasons that i joined this college: 1- I chose this college beacause of the location that i will not have to move out of my city to complete my bachelors as i live in Delhi 2- It is a recognised college and hence it is pretty okay if you want to work hard and get a placement here 3- This college may not be the best but it does produce opportunities for the studnets in terms of placement. Good number of companies come here for placement and if you have the interest and will you can land in a good company also
I never thought I would , go to Amityyy University noida , I applied for many college including DU I got into you but my course is not there, that's the reason why I did not think it was necessary for me to go to a college with my course is not. I I got rejected from college like flame university Pune my dream college, very broken inside I thought my dreams got crushed I got into Op Jindal but I feel that college would be a little too toxic for me and the environment too overall, my admission process was quite difficult. I had to give an interview and had to give a test. and I'm really happy that I got in, but sad as well because Amityyy was not my first choice, but I'm happy that This college is giving me a lot of opportunities. I'm becoming the person I thought I'll never become there are various pros and cons. but we always have to look at the bright side. That's why I feel.

i chose this college over every other college because evry other collges offered the same facility as amity law school which was in my city too which made easy for me to manage things with my family and in the city overall as i know this city and am familier with it. my college is better as it promises the placement and that too big packages. many number of fests take place in the college which makes it easier for student to socialize with each other apart from the formal envirnoment of the college. the process of admission is very easy and simple you just have to submit every document required like identity result of 10th and 12th etc. the payment is to be made in online mode and no cash as it helps in maintaining the record of every student. at last every system is pretty simple and easy to understand for student and parents.

I didn't apply for any other colleges though I thought of Adamas and Heritage. But I got to know since the last few years only marketing placements are being provided by the other colleges which I wouldn't prefer in future being a btech biotechnology student. Amity has better opportunities and placements which I heard from my friends who were already studying. I was a dropper student and I didn't want to take one year of risk so J got into this college for partial drop so that even If I don't get , I would still have a good opportunity . Online forms need to get filled for admission and then there's a video upload interview type session which they take through a link.
I've not applied at other colleges . i want to study in this college because Amity has a name among all the institutions including placements, campus, Classrooms, everything so i chose Amity for my BCA course. I had already made up my mind to get admission in this college and wants to study here. The process of admission is quite simple you have to fill up the form first then you have to give interview and then after discussing with admission department you'll get admission. there is no cutoff for any exams and you don't have to give exams for admission

Yes, one of my friends, who applied for one of the famous courses(BJMC) got rejected for Amity. But in the interview round she got a few answers wrong. Besides, she also had a gap of four years in her studies due to some medical issues.
The next day, she got informed through the website that she was not selected for her course in which she applied.
It is certainly not true that everyone gets admission in Amity very easily. A huge number of students apply to Amity University every year. So, it is evident that some of the applications will be rejected.
Some people I know secured marks that, without even an interview, would get them admission anywhere, because CBSE is obviously not frugal with respect to giving marks. On the other hand, the NIOS is not typically very generous. Moreover, if you have experienced a huge gap in your studies, then that will be an issue too.
To get your admission fees back from Amity University Noida, you need to apply for withdrawal from the program through Amizone. If you withdraw your admission 15 days before the commencement of the program, you will get a 100% refund of the semester fees and security deposit (after <5% of deduction, maximum of INR 5000 as processing charge).
The refund amount varies depending on when you are withdrawing your application. If you withdraw less than 15 days before the course commencement date, you will get a 90% refund. After 15 days post commencement of the course, you will get a refund of 80%. If you withdraw after 16-30 days of course commencement, the refund will be 50%. Post 30 days of the course start, you will only get the security deposit back.
Amity campus is safe. There are security and students at every corner of the campus, so you will be safe inside the college premises.
As for Noida, the sector where Amity University is located has a lot of other engineering colleges. The crowd and the hustle-bustle settle down as the day ends. It’s best if you don’t travel alone during the night. If you can’t avoid travel, go with a group. It’s a good city to live in but try to be a little cautious too.
