Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum of the course is decent. After fyp, we have to study 9 subjects every semester. There 2 core subject, 3 language and religion subject and the remaining 4 we could choose from different departments of the university. Overall, it's a nice curriculum.
Fees and Financial Aid
JMI is one of the top institution for pursuing political honours in the country. The fee structure was very minimal, although it's increasing a bit this year. The application fee was 550. The one year fee is 7675rs.There's no any other charges. The fee is same for all categories.There are some scholarship programs but only for muslim and reserves categories.
Campus Life
You could find different genre books in the library. There's a central library and each department has its own Library also. There's no major fest in the university . JMI lacks in that matter. But you will enjoy the atmosphere.
Admission
The faculty of department of political science of JMI is one the best in the country and the diversity of students from different parts is one of the major aspect of choosing this college.You have to give a entrance test for this course. The admission process is very simple.
Faculty
There 42 students in the class and the faculty strength is decent. There is semester system. Exams are conducted in December and may . Most of the faculty members are very qualified teachers and know the art of teaching .
Interview Experience
The test pattern includes 20 questions of English , 20 questions of reasoning, 40 questions from (geo,his,pol) and 20 questions from current affairs.You could easily prepare from youtube for English, reasoning and current affairs. And 11th class ncert for his,geo,pol.
Night Life
The nightlife of JMI is not much popular and it's not too great. It's just a normal campus area for that purpose. There's no cafeteria or anything in the university campus . There's some smaller shops in the campus only.
Other Applied Colleges
Delhi University - [DU] | Bachelor of Arts [BA] {Hons.} (Political Science)
The NIRF ranking of JMI is much better than DU.
