Course Curriculum Overview

3

As I opt CSE in this college, so I would tell you accordingly and even you are from other stream course curriculum is not so much hard . Some changes can be done like including some advanced topics in the curriculum as curriculum is not updated. In a semester of 6 month 3 times exams are conducted (2 internal and 1 external) Difficulty level-Moderate

Internships Opportunities

3

Some of the companies that offer Oncampus internship opportunity for cse students are Optum - Optum offer 40k stipend for internship as full stack developer role Accenture - Accenture offer 10k stipend as software developer intern some other companies offer internship but not that much (Oncampus)

Placement Experience

3

Max companies visit campus for placements in final year of you college. Some of the companies visit us for placement are Optum HSBC TCS..... Totka students placed with the package Optum 18 (18lpa) TCS 18 (from cse ) 3.3 lpa , 7.5lpa and 9lpa Highest package - 18lpa Avg package - 5.5lpa Percentage of students getting placed - 75 I will go for marketing.

Fees and Financial Aid

First year fee - 16150 Final year fee - 13815 So the fee decreases as we move from first year to final year. Detailed structure of fee (First year ):- Tuition fee - 2200 Admission fee - 200 Examination fee - 1000 Lab Caution fee - 200 Library Caution fee - 400 Library/Lab fee - 400 Game fee - 400 Curriculum activities - 0 Other charges - 10950 Total - 16150 Idk the detailed fee structure of NRI but it's approx 2.5 lakh per year. Some scholarship opportunities are PM-USPY and many more.

Campus Life

3

JMI does not organise large cultural fests but organise small cultural fests and technical fests. Some fests that are organised recently are Econium fest, bit and bytes.. JMI central library is one of the best libraries in delhi so books and journals availability is not a big issue. Facilities provided in the classroom are not so good as there is even problems in projector sometimes. Some groups clubs run by students is Web 3 JMI.

Admission

I selected in JMI through PMSSS so there are 2 rounds in this scholarship, In first round I got KIT Odisha.I contacted with the students in KIT they suggest me to go for the round 2 so then I proceed with round 2 and I got selected in JMI. Then I contact some of the JMI students to share their experience about the college so yaa that's why I opt this college as reviews are decent. Admission can be done through Jee mains and other scholarship quota.

Faculty

3

Student to faculty ratio is decent as there not so large number of students in the engineering so I would say it's gud. And student teacher relation is good we have to do our.projects under the professor they give us idea about the changes provide the roadmap and other help also . But same as other colleges some faculty does not support students they don't understand the students perspective. In a semester of 6 month Three exams are conducted - 2 internal and 1 external Difficulty level- Moderate As our bath size is 86 only 6- 7 failed to clear the exam. Course curriculum can be updated by including some of the recent subjects in the curriculum. For our batch it's outdated and for next batch there are some upgradation but still more changes are needed.

Night Life

3

I have not taken hostel in JMI so I don't have any idea about that. other than that no such good cafeteria are in the college. You can find a good cafeteria or places from college but you have to travel a little bit.

Students who have completed there 4 sem are eligible to sit in campus placements to secure 2month summer internship and students who have completed there 6th sem are eligible to sit in campus placements to secure 6 month internship along with ppo or fulltime or direct fulltime opportunities. Around 70-80% students gets placed in tech branches and around 50-70% gets placed in core branches. My plan after degree are to join a fulltime offer.

The placement of my college is decent enough. If you are from Tech and circutial branches you can expect package ranging around 12-30lpa, and other than this you can expect somewhere between 8-15lpa for other branches. Overall the placement is quite good.

The minor streams that they offer are Management, Computational Biology and Electronics. Students can enroll in any one based upon their preferences.
