Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology (GTBIT) was founded in 1999 by the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC), which manages a number of educational institutions. GTBIT is a degree-level technical institute accredited by AICTE and affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University in Delhi. Under this initiative, a project named "SPORTS FOR GROWTH AND PROSPERITY"(SGPP) was successfully implemented in collaboration with AICTE under the joint venture of the UKERI program commenced on 23rd November 2011. The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of GTBIT, established in April 2010, formulates designing, implementing monitoring, measuring, and improving the standards of teaching, evaluation, and research activities. I have also got addmission in CGC but joined this because it is a Sikh minority college and is towards sikhism. Sikh students can get addmission easily even at higher JEE ranks and about 75% in boards

The admission process is simple, you just need to register on the ipu admission portal. Once the counselling starts you need to make your preference list for round 1. After you are alloted a seat you need to pay part academic fees of 96000 and after that you need to freeze and at last you need to report at the college and pay the remaining fees. Admission are based on jee results only. Just you need to fill the ipu counselling forms after the jee results.

Firstly, the connectivity to the public transport which i mentioned earlier is good and locality is also good and not feel like in some old area and also this college is also very nearby to my house i stay in west delhi so it was also easy for me to travel and the fees was also affordable for me

Above this college I have choosen Mait, Bvp and Bpit then this college. All the other colleges have been approved. You have to submit all the necessary files that are written in the pdf given by the college itself. You can get into this college by Jee exams and I got 2 lakh rank on genral basis to get admission into this college in cse course

- The faculty is quite good , the area it is situated is also decent , it also has Gurudwara in campus area

- The campus area is not that large it's quite small like I can get a tour of whole campus area in approx 10 mints of walking
- There is no sports ground for cricket football etc. there is only one concrete ground to play

My main aim was to get in GGSIPU affiliated college as it is highly reputed college, and after attending offline spot round i landed in getting this college. I might get a better college according to my rank but as i was late for the spot round i have to take this. The admission process is simple, firstly you need to register in GGSIPU site and fill online counselling form after your JEE marks are live, after filling the counselling form there will be 3 online round and 2 spot rounds and later on there will be a last offline spot which is held in the main campus. I paid a 96000 DD to ggsipu and the rest amount i paid to college. My parents have a mindset focused on engineering or medical careers, so I chose this course. Unfortunately, my JEE result wasn't much good enough for a prestigious government institute, so I opted for IPU counseling,

- Campus size is a bit small but good for hectic days.

I chose this college because of the distance from my house and its in a remote city like Delhi and very developed so no doubt i had to choose a college in my home town. I left colleges like VIT VELLORE, SRM MAIN CAMPUS, MANIPAL to come here so no i didnt get rejected from other colleges i applied to.

I applied to some private colleges but got admission in only a few colleges also they were very far away from my place of residence I would've have to travel for atleast 2 hours just to reach my college which I didn't find convenient GTBIT was very near to my house so I just decided to take admission here the admission process is very uncomplicated you have to give JEE or IPU CET and get a rank good enough to get admission into the college
Admission:
The primary reason to choose this college was that it wasn't far away from my home unlike other colleges. So, it was very convenient to reach to the college daily. The area around the college premises is safe and good. Also, the college was good in terms of placements and teachinf faculty during that time. Hence, I chose this college over others. The admission process is pretty simple. After you get a seat, you just need to go there once for document verification and submit the fee, and you're done.

- 2-Wheeler Parking for students. Metro connectivity Subash Nagar and Mayapuri Metro nearby.

- Campus size is quite small. May be congested for some.

Admission was held through GGSIPU, they use JEE result for seat allocation and 2500 for miscellaneous fees. I chose GTBIT over ADGITM and VIPS because the locality of ADGITM is not that good, there are some crimes happening in Seelampur, and BTech program of VIPS is recently launched so there are no placement records yet.
