Dislikes

Campus is not lavish ,sometimes feels very crowded
Canteen food can be better. Another canteen can be added
Labs can be a bit better and more lifts should be there

Admission:

Got into this college by ggsipu counselling through jee mains rank percentile between 75-85 is good to get a seat in this college . For the sikhs adnissions are done at even less percentile.I also would have got electronics at a better ip college but priority was a computer science stream thats why opted for it

Likes

So basically one of best things about this college is the Faculty. They all are very supportive and good in teaching in their respective fields
Second thing is that it is very near to the metro stations : Mayapuri (pink line) and Subash Nagar (blue line)
Third thing is that the neighbour area is quite good. There are many cafes and restaurants students can visit.

Dislikes

One of the most demerit about this college is the campus size. Its very small
Second thing is that there is no playground! Students have to go sports complex to play and have fun
No fun and activity places near to the college

Admission:

I applied to all the colleges that come under GGSIPU and in the 1st round I got HMR and in the 2nd round of IPU counselling I got this college and then I booked this seat and got my seat allotment letter after paying 60000 for the required seat allotment fees! I chose this college over HMR because HMR is very far away from my home and this college is still nearer as compared to HMR As I said I applied to all the GGSIPU colleges but I got HMR is first round which is very far away from my college so I didnt chose it. So i didnt get rejection from any other college! The admisision process is very simple. You get the college on the basis of your JEE MAINS rank. The cutoff for this college is you'll get CSE branch if your rank is below 3L and CSE specialised branch if rank is below 5L for IT below 6-7L.

Likes

The Faculty at the college is very good especially the Physics Faculty at the college is the best
The Training and Placement Cell keeps on organising session for spreading information about how to crack interview for the students
There are Three main Society in our college The coding society CodeGeeks The empirical Society and the Cultural Society

Dislikes

The campus is very small this college comes inside the campus of GTBIT and has only one building of its own that's it
The Food in the Canteen is very expensive and not worth the money
Electrical Science faculty is very strict about the submission of Assignments

I failed to secure good percentile in the JEE MAINS exam and which is why I didn't had the sufficient percentile to secure a seat in that college . My Aim was NSUT Computer Science Engineering but since I had less marks I got to take admission in GTB4CEC

Likes

campus is small and pretty and provide many facilities
metro station are neared all the shops are provided to the location
parking allowed for the vehicles of the students

Dislikes

campus is small it can be more larger so can be enjoyable
canteen can be much bigger and menu should be upgrade
lecture halls do not contain air conditioner

Some of the teachers are very supportive and helpful. They help you till the end of the exams .
There are many societies in the college . We can join any of the society as per our interests and the seniors also help to enhance or develop our skills.
The mini ground in the campus is very nice .

The auditorium of the college is very small. The most important part in any college is auditorium so it's necessary that it must be big so that events on large scale can organise in th
The placements of college is not so good , means we have to work hard by our own , mostly students get placed off campus.
Infrastructure of lecture block must be needed to renovate.

I applied for Bharati Vidyapeeth College Of Engineering and Bhagwan Parshuram Institute Of Technology . But due to my low score in jee mains I wasn't able to got admission in bvcoe . I got EEE in BPIT but I already decided I didn't got for EEE . I also alloted Dr. Akhilesh Das Gupta College but I didn't opt it because of its area. So, the last option is only GTBIT , that's why I opt this college . So , basically you guys got admission in the college on the basis of IPU CET , this is the separate exam which was conducted by IPU. On the basis of JEE Mains Rank. And also on the basis of CUET .

I have also got addmission in CGC but joined this because it is a Sikh minority college and is towards sikhism. Sikh students can get addmission easily even at higher JEE ranks and about 75% in boards

Location is good as compared to other ipu affiliated colleges. Have some spots near college to hangout like pacific mall
Attendence isn't a issue here. You will not be detained for keeping attendence below 75%
Well connected with metro. Nearest metro station is Subhash Nagar.

Dislikes

Campus area is very small. There is no proper ground in the college
Placement are decent. Don't expect much from college for placements.

Admission:

The admission process is simple, you just need to register on the ipu admission portal. Once the counselling starts you need to make your preference list for round 1. After you are alloted a seat you need to pay part academic fees of 96000 and after that you need to freeze and at last you need to report at the college and pay the remaining fees. Admission are based on jee results only. Just you need to fill the ipu counselling forms after the jee results.

GTBIT - THE TRUTH

Likes

First that the connectivity is great nearby there is a bus stand and 2 metro stations mayapuri and subhash nagar is nearby so both dmrc blue line and pink line is nearby from college
Second that the college has so many clubs and teams for every sports so you can excel apart from your academics if you are into some artform or any spots

Dislikes

Firstly the campus is very small and it doesn't give the feeling of college sometimes
Secondly the college doesn"t provide parking for students 2 wheelers earlier it was allowed but now it is not now you have to park your vehichle the outside the college by the wall

Admission:

Firstly, the connectivity to the public transport which i mentioned earlier is good and locality is also good and not feel like in some old area and also this college is also very nearby to my house i stay in west delhi so it was also easy for me to travel and the fees was also affordable for me

Medium College Overview

Likes

Things I liked that there is proper bigger classrooms with AC attached
It has proper lab block and also has gym in the underground area
There are 2 canteens and a fountain at the enterance

Dislikes

No ground to play only little area to plan small outdoor games
More boys as compared to girls because of sikh category

Admission:

Above this college I have choosen Mait, Bvp and Bpit then this college. All the other colleges have been approved. You have to submit all the necessary files that are written in the pdf given by the college itself. You can get into this college by Jee exams and I got 2 lakh rank on genral basis to get admission into this college in cse course
