The IPU CET 2026 registration has started on the official website – ipu.ac.in on 2 Feb 2026 by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU). The candidates can now apply for the IPU CET 2026.  The exam is usually conducted in the month of February-April 2026, and the counselling would commence in June 2026. The IPU CET exam dates have not been released yet. This year, the examination is expected to be held in pen and paper mode between April 26 and May 18.

  • IPU CET operates in a computer-based format, with 100 MCQs to be answered within 3 hours (180 minutes).
  • Every right answer will give +4 marks, and a wrong answer will deduct a -1 mark.

BE/B. Tech admission through IPU CET is being eliminated in general engineering courses; it will depend on JEE Main scores. IPU CET will then specialise in Biotechnology, Lateral Entry streams, and JEE-not-covered courses.

  • In 2025, around 23,000 candidates took the BBA CET and competed for approximately 2,000 seats in 44+ IPU-affiliated colleges.
  • For IPU CET BBA, a score of 350-400 (out of 400) often places you in the top 1-500 rank, while 250-299 might land you between 1500-3000.
  • For central Delhi aspirants, colleges under GGSIPU are renowned for good faculty, strong academic rigour, and Delhi city exposure.
