IPU CET 2026 Registration Begins @ipu.ac.in; Apply by March 31

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) has started the online registration process for the academic session 2026-27. Aspiring students can now apply for various Undergraduate (UG), Postgraduate (PG), and PhD programs through IPU CET 2026. 

The GGSIPU has also introduced 24 new courses this year, including specialized B.Ed and Management programs. Candidates are required to pay ₹2,500 as a non-refundable application fee to complete their registration. They can pay online via Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking.

The university offers over 230 courses across its various schools and affiliated colleges. Key disciplines include:

• Engineering & Technology: B.Tech, M.Tech
• Management: BBA, MBA, BMS (New)
• Medical & Allied Sciences: MBBS, BDS, B.Sc (Nursing), BPT, BPO
• Law: BA LLB, BBA LLB, LLM
• Education: B.Ed, M.Ed, BA B.Ed (Special Education - New)
• Computer Applications: BCA, MCA
• Research: PhD in various streams.

IPU CET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility varies based on the course:

• Undergraduate (UG): Candidates must have passed Class 12 from a recognized board with minimum aggregate marks (usually 50% or above, depending on the course).
• Postgraduate (PG): A Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field with the required minimum percentage.
• PhD: A Master’s degree or equivalent with at least 55% marks (50% for reserved categories).
• Specific Exams: For many courses, valid scores in national-level exams like JEE Main, NEET, CAT, CMAT, CLAT, NIMCET, or CUET are required.

IPU CET 2026 Selection Process

The university follows a structured selection process:

1. IPU CET 2026: For most professional courses, the university conducts its own Common Entrance Test (CET).
2. National Level Exams: Preference is given to national scores (e.g., JEE Main for B.Tech, NEET for Medical).
3. CUET: CUET scores are considered as a secondary channel if seats remain vacant after CET/National scores.
4. Counselling: Qualified candidates must participate in the Online Centralized Counselling for seat allotment.

2. Click on the "Admission 2026-27" link.
3. Register by providing basic details (Name, Email, Mobile Number).
4. Fill out the application form with personal and academic information.
5. Upload scanned documents: Photograph, Signature, and Left-hand Thumb Impression.
6. Pay the ₹2,500 fee and submit the form.
7. Download and print the confirmation page for future reference.
