JMI Placement Report 2025 has not been released officially. As per the NIRF Report 2025, during the JMI Placement 2024, the median package reached INR 13,78,000 for the BTech program, while the median package for MBA is INR 12,60,000.

During the JMI placement 2023, the BTech median package stood at INR 11,00,000 and the MBA package stood at INR 10,20,000. There was an increase of 25.27% and 23.53% for BTech and MBA, respectively, in the 2024 placement.

From third year student can practice their privately. But officially jamia provides 8 months internship program for medical student and also for other courses. Recently jamia pay an intern approx 31000? per month for internship. Almost 70% students got easily placement in jamia. My plan after getting degree I'll go for masters in dental in i wants to become an MDS oral surgeon.

The placement of my specific course that is diploma in electrical engineering is excellent and every one got placed whoever applied in our class my branch . Placements start from last year 5th sem . Many companies hire diploma in electrical students. Some companies Voltas Dubai branch also came and took 3 students with a package of 12 lakh per annum indian rupees and many more companies which offered from 15 thousand to 30 thousand. Percentage of students was very good like whoever applied hot the jobs . Average package -25 thousand highest -1 lakh. But talking about me I did not want job I wanted to do Bachelors.

The placement is pretty decent for this course, usually we get placement at the place we do out INDUSTRY TRAINING at which is in sem 3 and we can give interviews for it and get our desired company as well. Ofcourse the university can only help us so much, they have like 2-3 big options but after that we're on our own. Our higest placement offer will be about 3-5 lachs per annum after that it will start growing the further we climb in this field. Internationally the package would be 7-9 lachs but in india its that low. Usually half the students do get the placement and half the students start doing their own thing after the course ends. Ill get my job experience after this course and will start building my own bakery start up side by side, the short term goal is a bakery product start up and the long term goal is owning a cafe/restaurant and running it

On average, 100 students get placed in Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) in the Engineering department every year.

If we look at the placement drive for 2020, a total of 257 students were placed. More than 52 companies participated in the placement program. The companies that recruited the maximum number of students are Microsoft and Deloitte. The highest salary package went up to 41 LPA.

Many reputed companies took part in the placement program along with Microsoft and Deloitte. They include Accenture, Wipro, HP, IBM, Bosch, Phillips, Texas Instruments, TCS, Zia Electronics, Siemens, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, etc.

If we are simply comparing the colleges on the basis of ROI, JMI would be your best bet since it gets you a job with an average pay of 5 lacs with a mere fee of nearly 50000. But if you want to get a proper campus exposure you could think of going to Doon Business School. Doon charges nearly 5c lacs for the entire period of two years and has an average package of 6v lacs. You also need to emphasize the factors that are important to you. JMI is a central university and has a very rich legacy but Chandigarsh University on the other hand is quite popular for its pedagogy and professors. My personal choice would be to go for JMI because of the enticing ROI and small batch size.
